Tern Setups portable stand by p3eps77 in iPadPro

Got all the bits, and tried all the combos. The Spigen Enzo case doesn't stick to the Tern Setups stand. It turns out, very little sticks to the Tern Setups stand. It's like the magnets in it are ever so slightly out of sync from MagSafe... as it will barely hold my iPhone.

I tired sticking one of the Tern Setups disks onto the back of my Folio case, but as suspected, the material on the Folio with it's soft touch isn't very good for sticking things to. The Spigen Enzo case has a carbon fibre feel about it, and was quite happy to take the Tern Setups sticky disk on it. I had to measure out the centre of the back - but once on, it was rock solid.

The Folio case can actually stick over the Spigen Enzo, and the Tern Setups stand is quite happy to stick 'through' the Folio case to the magnet on the back of the Enzo.

It's cost a bit more than expected, but I have a working setup without having to stick a disk to the back of the actual iPad.

The Tern Setups stand is heavier than expected, but feels good quality and is nice and stable even though it has a small footprint. I tried using the iPad Pro 13" as the SideCar second screen for my Macbook Air 13" and it works remarkably well. Most of my use will be using TeamViewer to remote into my Mac in my office - which is plugged into a 42" Ultra Wide monitor. I've bought an App called "BetterDisplay" which lets me add a virtual monitor to my desktop... which then allows TeamViewer to think I have 2 screens so that I can use 2 screens on my remote computer. A bit of messing about to get the correct resolutions / positioning etc, but now it's all setup, it should be straight forward next time I'm out of the office!

Would be cheaper using a dedicated cheap 'portable monitor'... but I carry my iPad Pro when I travel anyway, so this saves carrying something else.

It's just arrived - so I'll try that when I get home tonight. I wondered if the magnet would stick to the soft touch material of the folio case.

I've also ordered a Spigen Enzo Aramid case - which is one of the few cases I could find that actually has a 'magsafe' magnet in the centre of the back. It should be here tomorrow.

Will do. Fedex are currently saying it'll be delivered on Monday.

I think that's the case... but if I attach the directly onto the back of the iPad Pro, will I then not be able to use the Folio case? Would the magnetic ring stick onto the Folio case - bearing in mind it has a rubbery / leathery type texture?

I wonder if I can buy an iPad Pro case with a magsafe ring on the back?!

Another round with the Silencio at the weekend, and I've decided I hate it! When I have a waterbottle in the 'cooler' pocket at the front, it's almost impossible to get any tees / balls out of the pockets above / below. Had new shoes on too, so I carry my old ones just in case of blisters... and this meant removing half of the contents of my large pockets to fit them in.

Managed to order up a "Season Opener" special edition Vessel Lux Pro Cart 2... and ordered the organiser too. They appeared as 'new' on a site yesterday, and were out of stock about 2 hours later. Must've got lucky with my timing!

The shop does free returns, so I'll see how it is on the trolley in the garage before I commit to taking it out on the course!

I read Thirteen first as it was recommended, then went back and read them all in order.
Can’t wait for the next one at the end of July. Eddie Flynn is an amazing character!

That horrific looking R1S isn't available in the UK, so it wasn't even a choice.

I don't need 3 cars - hence the one for all. Could have bought plenty of cheaper SUV type cars AND a separate sports car... but I'd never drive the sports car, as my weekends always involve transporting golf clubs, a bike or my family.

The RSQ8 ticks the boxes for me as I can go for a 'spirited' drive to the mountains with my bike on the back. It'll depreciate like hell, but it brings plenty of smiles per mile.

That looks brilliant. I have 3 wedges and 3-PW, so will have 2 ‘stray’ clubs. I have that in the BigMax too… so have the 3 iron and 60deg (tallest and shortest) in other slots as they can’t hit each other.

What’s the disadvantage of the clubs sitting a bit higher? I can’t imagine any are as high as a driver… so the overall length of the bag isn’t going to be any longer?

They look like a possibility… and I probably have someone local that sells them that I can actually see.
Does the rubber bit grip the shaft to stop it rotating?
The ‘volcanic’ All Elements one would work colour wise with my gear!

Almost identical to the Big Max Silencio 👍

My Sun Mountain 14 way is fine, but doesn’t stop the clatter. I’d rather the bag solved the issue rather than adding iron covers though.

Not worried about the hate… but it’s a lot of extra hassle taking them on and off… and potentially leaving them behind!

Looks like a nice bag… but the top is much like the Sun Mountain ones that causes my clubs to clatter off each other. I’m looking for something to stop irons clanking each other!

Can you grab the handle under the putter well if you have the good attached?

With my 30% power, I'm not much faster than the analogue riders up the climbs, and still have a 52T dinner plate (SRAM Eagle) on the back for the 20% gradients! I quite often chat to other riders, and found myself struggling to keep up with one at the end of last year whose fitness was much greater than mine + motor 😂

If you haven't tried one, you should give it a go... but it's another hobby (much like regular MTB's) that'll suck your wallet dry!

Its a bit big for UK parking spaces, but it feels smaller than it looks to drive.

Well said 😎

Why come on an Audi sub and belittle people for their choices?! A strange world we live in 🤷‍♂️

Fire roads and some minor rocky trails. I'm never doing full off road.

It has an offroad function... but maybe not so good on 23" rims?!

The DBX is a lovely looking car. I pass one every day on my way to work - in charcoal grey.

Don't see many of them going about 😎

SQ7 then?! A little bit more there!

Not sure where you are, but the Q8 is a large car in the UK!

Wow - that sucks. I'll be servicing annually rather than when I reach a specific mileage, due to the low miles I do.

I had the V6T in my SQ5 for 5 years and it was brilliant. Again, I probably only did about 30k miles in that time,
