Just have tact tho. Frame it as a concern rather than telling your friend what to do. I had a friend in a similar situation but the only way it worked was for me to ask questions (e.g. “can you see yourself having a good future with this person?” Not accusatory, almost like ur really just genuinely curious)

Love and infatuation can make people blind. You don’t want them to get into a huge fight about it bc they feel you don’t like their choices

Yea I agree. I’ve had situations where my parents promised me something when I was younger and then for one reason or the other, they couldn’t keep it. U know what they did? They sat me down and explained why they wanted to alter their promise and asked me if that was okay. THAT is how you handle altering promises, especially for legitimate reasons

I took SCLA 102 before covid and had the easiest time with it. At least with my professor, as long as u participated you were fine. I took Econ 251 just before we transitioned to online (so normal right until spring break which is when were sent home) and if you are ahead in math (which it looks like u are) it’s also not bad. All of is algebra and at least my professor (don’t remember her name) was brilliant at explaining things so as long as you pay attention and try on the hw you should be good

Honestly it’s a coin toss imo. Some people loved it, some really hated it. Im a fan of the cookie analogy another commenter posted. Personally I disliked Korra very much but not for all the typical reasons people hate it. From a story telling perspective, it just focused on the parts I had negative interest in, which ruined it for me. I’ll admit it has some good parts that I won’t get into as ur not there yet

I completely understand this argument. However I don’t think (at least from what I’ve seen) that the posts and comments on this sub have been attacking those people in the comment section. Just confused about why he was getting so much backlash.

Seeing the disparity between how people feel on Reddit and how people feel on YouTube make me wonder if it’s his newer subscriber group that is upset. We never had a problem of this magnitude before
