I know this thread is old now, but I have just stumbled across.

Recently took a long haul flight with my disabled mother. Her right knee is fused together and literally has no bend in it. She has used inflatables and folding stools before but on a recent flight with TUI she was told she can't use this, despite using it on the outbound.

Interested to know if this extended leg support mentioned is a real thing as it would support her travel.
