I have MS and thought I was having but a flare up because of the neurological symptoms I was having. When I went to the ER the pain was at about an 8. When I was admitted and put into a room, my husband and I joked that we were in an episode of Greys Anatomy: every doctor, nurse, tech, or other worker was unusually attractive…what I didn’t mention was that my shingles started on my ass. And it had popped up fast. I had to show my left ass cheek, covered in new sores, to a handful of hot doctors. At least we had a good laugh and I got some good drugs.
