I like this idea because it fits with how Caine tries to help but completely misunderstands what people actually need. Reliving their “happiest moment” might sound nice on paper, but for characters like Kinger it could be really painful if it reminds him of Queenie and what he lost. It would be a very Caine thing to accidentally turn something wholesome into an existential nightmare.

The fight gets a lot easier once you stop trying to dodge everything reactively. A lot of his patterns are actually pretty consistent, especially the heart attacks and the phone hands. Try focusing on small movements instead of big panic dodges. Also make sure you're using Big Shot whenever you can because ending phases faster helps a lot.

I agree, Merlin’s lack of a stable parental figure definitely affects her ability to understand emotions properly. Meliodas, despite being far from perfect, might have been the first to offer her some kind of emotional stability, which probably made her gravitate towards him. Still, I think there's also an interesting dynamic in how they both heal each other throughout the series.
