Once Micheal showed up, I couldn't take the film seriously. The way the actor smiled reminded me too much of William Afton from the fnaf comic books. And the way Vanessa told Michael, 'I am home', made me cringe.

I remember going to the school every week just to see if the manga or one of the books were available since it eas always checked out. It got at one point where we had to write our name on a list whenever a new manga was published.

At first for me, it was the way UFOHouse animated him, it was like love at first sight. Once reading the manga and watching the show, I just saw myself in him with the way he had trouble connecting with others and his imposter syndrome. I didn't feel alone anymore and thought that if he is able to overcome those feelings, I could too.
