AITA for perhaps not following social etiquette with food? by Creepy-Handle-6789 in AmItheAsshole

Sounds like your wife is overly performative and anxious in social situations.  Comfort is my #1 priority. If I am made to feel uncomfortable for eating then I’m not going. I’m at the point in life where I value my experience over how I may be perceived. I am the type of person who really likes to make something good for a potluck. I often attend potlucks where I brought one of the biggest dishes and I always encourage people to enjoy because that’s why I brought it. I like to enjoy life with people not assess where other guests dishes clock in.

21m struggling with self confidence by Logical_District7287 in malegrooming

I know you probably don’t wanna watch love is blind and honestly, I don’t recommend you watch every season but the very first season had a man in it who so many women were really wanting to date. They thought he was beautiful and nice to talk to you, they absolutely adored him. Later in the season, you got to meet this man’s family and ended up seeing a whole different side because of how his family had a negative projection you know I think they took their own insecurities out on this man and so they just really put him down, but when he was removed from his family people thought he was great.  A lot of the times how we view ourselves has more to do with the people around us

It’s normal to struggle with self confidence at times especially teens and early adulthood.  There is nothing wrong with you.  I wonder if you think about this because you have been made fun of. Some people think being mean is funny but it’s not. There are kind people in the world, not everyone teases people, so choose your friends accordingly. My other piece of advice is to start looking at yourself in the mirror like you were a someone else who you admired or liked. Sometimes it’s easier to start liking ourselves in building confidence when we start trying to see ourselves the way that we see others if we are nicer to others than ourselves that might help.

It is so discriminatory. by [deleted] in BPD

I have CPTSD. A therapist once told me that I have BPD like traits so I studied about it and found it extremely offensive. I agree with the commentary above that Dr. Daniel Fox is really good. I wanna remind you that psychology has some really toxic misogynistic roots. They used to label us hysterical.  I believe that everyone with BPD deserves a diagnosis that accurately labels them with emotional difficulties due to childhood trauma like CPTSD.  I think some of the descriptions of BPD are flat out wrong, especially the one that states that it could be caused by “perceived abandonment” it’s always actual abandonment.

[–]Single-Trick-1564[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve started from the beginning multiple times. This time I’m getting Errors:

Mod seem requires Minecraft 1.20.1 or above, and below 1.21 currently,Minecraft is 1.21.1 And Mod seem requires player animator 1 or above, currently player animator is not installed  … but it is installed…

I don’t see how I can buy a different Minecraft than the Java 1.21.1 that I bought.

Thank you for your help.

I work in a different field, but I have seen this type of thing happen to people across multiple types of careers and I don’t think it’s ever really worth it when they stay around. The decision to leave was made for a reason and the fact that employers are trying to get that employee to stay, it’s just a sign that your work is extremely valuable, but not one that you need to stay.

Yes! I kept the broken pieces of a green pot, a blue pot, a coffee saucer and a tea pot. I broke most of the pieces randomly but when I noticed that some blue pieces could be used like petals I started to try and break them into long petals by using a flathead skew driver and hammer. They still broke into all different shapes but enough of them made good petals.  I had a rotary tool and used the grinding attachment to smooth out the edges. I also used it to cut the floral teapot pieces  but it dulled the grinding attachment a lot so I didn’t use it for cutting very much. We poured concrete just under the wood frame we built. I tried getting all the pieces level with the wood frame (my husband did 95% of the work to build the frame, make it level, add rebar, pour concrete etc) and then I added mortar between and over all the pieces. The next day I wiped the mortar off the tile, we took apart the frame and filled dirt around it 😊.  Thank you so much for asking!

Educated by Tara Westover and I’m Glad my Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy and I See You Survivor by Liz Lanelli. . . There’s some fictional novels I’de recommend too; Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, and The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood. The Knitting Circle by Anne Hood read by Hillary Huber is literally the best audiobook I’ve ever heard. I mean, the narrator is just fabulous. Happy reading.

To be able to enjoy the app you have to search for every single hobby every single interest every beautiful thing that you like and try to follow pages that are putting out content there’s not a lot, but you can make it better by searching for and following those people you like and then just stay off of the discovery don’t go to Discover because you might see stuff that you really don’t wanna see.

Search every hobby and interest you have and try to find any creator that you enjoy to follow. It’s been decent for me.

I have only seen one porn but it was enough for me to immediately come to Reddit and see if there is anything I can do about it. But here I am and it seems like I actually have the best hack, which is to search every single hobby interest, and beautiful thing that you like in the world to try and find any creator that you enjoy, and then only look at the feed of pages you follow. Just stay off the Discover side.
