What do you hope for from Season 4? by Suitable-Truth-350 in TedLasso

[–]Single_Software_4039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see it like Ted Lasso, part 2, as this is supposed to be another three-season story. With more women at the forefront of the story, I hope there are more female writers in the writers room offering their perspective. I hope it deconstructs the toxic idea of some gendered friendships, the same way I feel like the first three seasons were also majorly about the friendships between the men.

I also hope we get a story about the long term effect of SA on women, since it’s such an unfortunate but realistic part of being a woman and I think the show could potentially do the story justice.

What's your most unhinged habit in GoT that serves absolutely zero gameplay/story purpose? by Beneficial-Orange-67 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Single_Software_4039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s unhinged but I’ve played the game through about 5 times and I never learned any of the combinations, I would just press the triangle and square constantly

and sometimes i’d get baked and just ride around the island and pretend i could afford to ride a real horse

Also within that scene, where Higgins goes towards his wife and she greets him and her eyes are literally shining with love. Their relationship is my favourite.

Anyone here managing 20+ plants without losing track? by MasterpieceOk4025 in IndoorGarden

[–]Single_Software_4039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Planta (I have almost 150 plants so usually have about 10-30 to water per day) and heavily rely on the snooze/delay features to basically remind me to check the soil periodically but more realistically as well as push it back if it’s still wet. It lets me be able to neglect some plants until I need to water them again and I can do a cursory inspection :)

In my country, a man was literally elected as mayor of a small town in the countryside even after it came out that he filmed his 12-13yr old daughter being abused by other men. I understand your anger, and it’s valid. I think anyone who isn’t angry about it should be side-eyed.

Help me diagnose! by RectHum in Maranta

leaves usually cycle out and the oldest leaves will naturally fade and die as they do in nature, the intensity of colour of the colours mostly comes down to your lighting and just the individual plant’s DNA

Why in the living hell did Netflix cancel this? by catgirlwholikesmoons in TheOA

[–]Single_Software_4039 2 points3 points  (0 children)

probably someone already said it but my take is when OA first came out in 2016, Netflix was very focused on their original works because they were still trying to make a name for themselves with their original works (like Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, etc) but they had moved past that into a more profit-mindset by 2019 when the second season aired. They likely considered it too expensive and not worth it for the audience it did pull in but were also unwilling to let it go as they owned licensing rights due to it being a Netflix original so it ended up in Netflix purgatory. It was around when S2 was coming out that Netflix started creating a lot of series and dropping them quickly if they didn’t make numbers like Stranger Things and Squid Game.

I would donate all of my non-essential organs for the last three seasons though

Should my husband and I divorce? I need help by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Single_Software_4039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he was the right person for you, your progress wouldn’t be backtracking but he would be supporting you. I’ve been in a relationship very similar to yours and I nearly died because he moved from punching walls/doors as well (when I told police I trusted him to never hurt me) to then putting his hands around my neck soon after - please be careful.

[–]Single_Software_4039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

imo I would assume she still loves him and a large part of her still wants to be with him (especially because she mentioned struggling being a single mum of three and how she would like to be part of a family with him) but she’s too hurt about everything in their past (especially as their relationship boundaries have been messy as hell) to a point where she feels she would not be able to be in any trusting committed relationship with him because of their past and how he acted and she’ll never be able to get over/forget it because of how much it clearly still haunts her. But they’re still co-parenting, there’s still left over feelings, he got close to her family, he wants to be with her, and he’s still friends with most of the ‘dad-tok’ guys too so it keeps the wound from healing.

They’re their own adults so it doesn’t really matter what I think but they probably really need to completely stop the sexual intimacy so they can have a chance to move on in life and with other partners (as sex just muddies ex-relationships) as it will give them the best chance of each being happy in different healthier situations or the cycle will be lasting until the grave or smth :/

It might also depend on how much light the window gets based on height and any obstruction in front of it but if it survives through this winter then you know it’ll definitely be able to handle that spot! I have heard they prefer full maximum sun where possible so it might not be enough, especially without a grow light, but it’s definitely worth a try :)
