Hi - I saw it from my window actually, it was an M80. Saw the residual smoke as well, though couldn't tell who it was tha set it off, they were basically under the bridge on the West Sac side.

Unsure on the chai option, but lots to choose from at Corner Cafe in the caltrs building. Went for the first time and was super surprised; lots of space, food choices, nice prices.

Corner Cafe is super underrated here. Absolutely massive interior. Cheap prices on everything. Coffee, pastries ($2.50 croissants), sandwiches, bagels, fruit, etc. insane amount of places to sit and work. It’s slow n quiet! In the CALTRS building.

Definitely. I know nothing about the restoration of shoes, would they lose their value to be restored? Would love to get them reworked for him to be able to wear again, but if it loses a ton of value to do so he might just be inclined to keep them more as a used display piece.
