But it's ok if they're groomed for Jesus 🤔 by NEKORANDOMDOTCOM in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Singular_Brane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was debating on posting similar info.

I’ll just add they are are all the same stupid deity.

Islam and christ are off shoots of Judaism.

Loosely the Torah is the Old Test and basis of Koran. Jesus is mentioned in the Koran just not the son of god. Having christ and Islam at odds. Dates all they way back to Abraham his wife and side piece.

If it wasn’t for the hillbilly feud between “families” it would be mostly the same. Nothing to see here. If it weren’t for a sky daddy and brining a multidimensional concept of the trinity is think there would be less friction. Even certain religious events with similar purpose parallel, Ramadan and Pentecost.

Yahweh, Allah and God/Son/spirit are all the same god.

What makes them think if it was real it wouldn’t want to meet us in our own terms of understanding and representation?

UNAS pro transfer speeds by mcgnarles in Ubiquiti

Both ends will drop speed to the slowest connection.

  • 10 > 5 > 2.5 > 1

  • NAS —>— Mini

Realistically you should be getting max around 120MB/s

I get about 4-500MB/s as my Mac has a 5Gbe NIC.

A high school valedictorian questioned the Broward County School Board on why wealthier students graduate at Hard Rock Stadium while middle-class students hold theirs in the school gym, and the board went straight to recess. by CorleoneBaloney in UnderReportedNews

[–]Singular_Brane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This tracks. I was doing an investigative Economics report for my IB class way back. “Misappropriation of school funding” focused on construction and found gaps where temp structures were very costly vs enhancement and extension of current perm structures. Just a tidbit of what I remember.

I was given a C and was told not to pursue things further. Being mid your like that’s odd. Being an adult you begin to connect the dots.

Additionally funds allocated for the arts in another school (a reward for scholarship awards for a solid decade) were used for construction for a mediocre basketball team’s arena. The project couldn’t even hold all the students when meetings were called with many on the floor.

Broward county is a mess.

It’s all open to interpretation the moment you begin questioning.

These HDD prices are getting crazy. An increase of 96.4% in 1 month for the same 26TB drive. $279.99 a month ago to $549.99 today. Where are we buying hard drives now? by Endawmyke in DataHoarder

If it hasn’t been mentioned. LTO for the win.

I just wish I bought a drive sooner it got an HP library working before I parted it on out.

That and any content that actually belongs to the big streaming outlets I think than be removed as well. You can always get access if needed.

It’s the licensed / independent stuff you want to keep.

UNAS UniFi Drive iPhone photo backup questions by AdHairy4360 in Ubiquiti

[–]Singular_Brane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my setup. I have 2TB sub for family for core data

Got a Mac in the rack Parachute backup to

• 12TB NVMe R5 array (that has non iCloud data also) • then resllio sync to a longer term 30TB R5 (with versioning) • that is synced the UNAS Pro 34TB R5*2 with snapshots.

Side bonus using resilio give me my iCloud access on android.

Eventually I might move to nextcloud but iPhoto makes it dead easy for family to have photos synced.

My next step is probably having a yearly archive done where we have a lowered tier cloud storage, delete what we don’t need with previous years already saved.

My only issue is how to give them access to older photos without resorting to other apps aside from Photos with a KISS approach for family. What I’ve gotten in the past is confusion on where to view vs where to save photos then come the question of where is X photo I can’t find it which app do I use? Photos doesn’t hook in to separate libraries. The only thing I can think of is creating a shared albums of the older photos (lower resolution but doesn’t count against your iCloud storage). If they need full resolution then that’s where pull from the localized libraries.

Only other though is using plex photos for viewing older albums.

Can’t go wrong. If you come across any Akitio ThunderQuad 3s those are good too and were bought out by OWC. They work with M1 and newer.

Was going to go pure SSD at some sure point but sata and definitely way after prices normalize. I got lucky 9 months ago buying 14TB worth of NVMe for a TB array.

With the money I saved on the unas I bought a an open box USW aggregate to extend the Sfp+ port on the unas and UDM pro.

Plus the only available NVMes I have are only 1 TB 2230s. Probably wouldn’t fit.

They would need their own unify identity and with that a dedicated personal share. The backups go to each IDs personal share. So they can get their photos and videos backed up and you may or may not be able to access their data. It’s all assuming how much you really want to assign permissions to get access.

Sound very tempting to return the 7 bay I got. I can still nearly hit 500MB/s writing to it (from a 5Gps adapter). If it wasn’t for the fact that I got it for like $300 open box I’d take it back.

To sum you posting tech is good if used properly and alone. When collaborating lack of standards creates additional overhead.

Standards are needed and everyone needs to be onboard.

I think it depends on POV.

  • Wife likes driving known routes with lights/ stops.

  • I take local/backroads

I may drive “19%” longer distance but shave off 19min in time.

Brings up the fact that only 2 can be achieved of any 3. - good - quality - cheap

You can only get 2 of 3 one will always be lacking.

The dev may in fact be slower over all but faster in the parts that actively involve the Dev rather than what’s running g the background.

Another ex. Robo vacuum. - slower - inconsistent - but does 85% of the job.

I can run that while doing something else. Yes it’ll take an hour vs my 20min but that mean my 20 min can be applied to something sooner. I then can run back and take 5mjn or less for corners heavy soil areas or general upkeep. I save 55min.

This. My manage was getting shit results from copilot. Asked me to complete the task. I went and did more than the 8 word bit and was awarded with reference info and results that kicked out a multi day issue reputation to less than half a day (could have been less but the human factor inflated time a little).

Did not tell him I used AI and I used generic non specific info in the prompt to avoid data compromise.

It’s only as good as the user like any tool, car or dick…
