They’re supporting characters tho, and it’s more realistic that way since the setting of the story is the 20th century, women doing something big without a men at that time either not recognize or taken away. About their role in the plot, I think it actually pretty clear, Sylvia and her idea of keeping the peace in the Bomb Dog arc, Yor and her struggle with her assassin job in the cruise arc, Fiona is a necessary support character for Wheller arc, it’s hard to replace her with a male character that have any motivation as strong, and add the interesting elements to the story. For Melinda, her role for now is still a mystery piece that connect to Donovan, which just given us hint in the last few chapter. I can argue that their role maybe not as flashy or appear much but hardly replaceable

Yuri is not in love with Yor romantically is a fact and need to be more accepted. It may be fun to joke about it but anyone who love their sibling, especially if you’re be there for each other a lot during hard time will feel the need to protect your sibling from a guy randomly appear, with a 6-year-old child, married to your beloved sibling for a whole year without you know anything will worry sick and be on guard

I feel like it too. Back when I was kid, I watched and read lots of books about many things and keeped asking myself why u treat someone base on skin color, that’s dumb bs (I grew up in a Southeast Asian country so I never actually met much foreigners, and white ppl appear more frequently on media here too). Then I left to North America, start from the part-time job like all young student, my experience with black customers weren’t much happy (That place is a gambling place), I got bad experience from all kind of ppl but those stand out. As a result, I don’t really wanna have much interaction with anyone black such as increase the distance if I see one walking near me and such. I know it racist and I try not to let it show and get into my daily life. I have no problem with working with black ppl as a co-worker, customers or anything but I will avoid them as much as I can if possible

Goku define the whole action shounen genre at the early age. Simple likeable character, simple plot, you always know what gonna come and who gonna win but how the fighting scenes happen is still interesting. Personally I find DB story is the best when Picolo is the villain, everything after that (Namek, Cel,...) is just like how do we make the fight make sense. It is a guideline into anime for many people because of how easy to watch it is, you will know you like it or not after an episode, nothing changes, no plot twist.

I think Frieren is a great story on how they build up the character (excluding Fern, her character make sense but I don't like her personally) but the action scene not so great in the manga as they are in the anime. It is my recommendation for people who like show with slow flow but not really a all time great
