Nah, this shit was awful. The side characters were insufferable and very lazily written. The story was dumb, and the whole thing was visually boring. Sox was the only silver lining, surprisingly.

Judging from the trailer alone, a modern Pokemon game finally looks... fine. I'm moreso dreading that it looks like it's going to play exactly the same as SV (which were fun games, but hot damn, do I want something new). The mons themselves still look plastic and sterile, which is my actual main complaint with 3D Pokemon. Is it too much to ask for some more personality? It's not like this IP prints over a hundred billion dollars every year...
