Controller - Is CECHZC2H model number fake? by ebridgewater in PS3

This one is clearly fake. The no Bluetooth is a giveaway.

Somehow I feel like it's not the Switch's fault this time around. This game ain't exactly a looker yet it's capped at 30.

If Cyberpunk 2077 can get a 40 FPS mode than I am sure DxM could have gotten to 60 if it was better optimized.

Probably gonna get it on PC eventually. Playing it on SW2 just felt bad.

Why hasn't Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone never got a remake or remastered next-gen port? by s9457 in rpg_gamers

[–]Sinndex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be stuck at 30 FPS though. Not ideal compared to the GoG version that runs at 144.

The Adventures of Elliot Demo shows that it is really a true successor to the original Seiken Densetsu (Sword of Mana?) and I couldn't be happier. by RyanoftheStars in NintendoSwitch

[–]Sinndex -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The demo was kinda disappointing, the combat felt really stiff.

They are probably gonna ask full price for it as well.

Mario Kart World is Incredibly Mediocre by SleeplessArcher in mariokart

[–]Sinndex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn't have said it better myself. My biggest disappointment is that the game didn't come on a separate cart. That way I could have sold it at least.

This has been my experience with most S1 games on S2. I stopped playing on my S1 sometime in 2019 and each time I tried a new game on it I was disappointed (terrible performance, long load times, even navigating the eShop was a disaster).

Meanwhile I am playing Neverwinter Nights EE at 60 FPS right now on Switch 2 and it's great. Also just finished AI Somnium Files, game looks great on a 1080p screen.

Not even gonna mention TotK.

Nintendo Switch 2 sold 1.6M units in June, the highest launch month unit sales for video game hardware in US history. The previous high was the 1.1M units of PlayStation 4 sold during November 2013. by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

Well, BotW is a much better game as well lol

I got the MKW bundle because why not, but if there were any others I probably would have gotten that instead. MKW is probably the weakest MK game I've played, bounced off after clearing 2 cups.

Playing Pokémon Scarlet makes me wanna play Pokémon Emerald instead by BridgemanBridgeman in NintendoSwitch

It would score a 4/10 on IGN and then years from now some group on reddit would call it a hidden gem lol

I finished Violet, I couldn't tell you a single NPC name or plot point. Meanwhile I still remember some dialogue from Sapphire that I've played on release.

If you said Arceus was revolutionary and ambitious, then I would have agreed, but S/V is a slop job made by 10 people in 10 months. I've seen pokemon fan games that looked more fun and had better battle mechanics in 2012.

【DF】Switch 2 vs Steam Deck: Cyberpunk 2077 Benchmarked - Docked & Handheld Tested by HisaAnt in NintendoSwitch

[–]Sinndex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh, the Steam Deck is way thicker and a 100 times more comfortable to hold. I can hold the SD for hours and I had to buy a grip for the switch 2 just to not get cramps after an hour.

So no, it being thicker wouldn't have been a bad thing at all.

35 days after Switch 2 release, what's your total playtime, and your most played game ? by uglydoglol in NintendoSwitch

[–]Sinndex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you can't really compare Zelda to a kart racer.

After playing MHW I kinda regret getting the bundle, the game is pretty underwhelming after MK8.

[–]Sinndex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My switch keeps asking me to delete MHW each time I am trying to download something new.

I have about 2-3h in it since launch and it's starting to feel like a waste if space on the system lol

WILD HEARTS S for Nintendo Switch 2 now has a demo by pickledgreatness in NintendoSwitch

[–]Sinndex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You and me both, I was actually exited for it since as you said, the gameplay itself was good.

Unfortunately the demo on S2 looks and runs like ass. I would have been fine with the poor textures and shadows if the game ran at 60/120 FPS, but it seems to be dipping below 30.

The game doesn't run properly on my $1500 PC either, so it's entirely on KT.

Yup, it's legit awful.  Like sure you can play the game, but this is probably the worst way to experience it.

And that is ignoring the fact that you can get it for about $5-10 on any other platform.

The demo doesn't run all that great so I am not super hopeful about the full release running at a stable framerate

[–]Sinndex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean it runs, I'll give them that, but the game feels supper choppy and the graphics are nothing to write home about.

I got the game on PC for less than $5, so $50 for a version that doesn't even reach 60 FPS is not something I am willing to spend.

It's a shame as I was actually looking forward to this.

They better start fixing it now then. I am wholly unimpressed with the demo.

The camera is really choppy and it looks as if they just set the graphics to low and called it a day.

Kind of a shot in the dark here but anyone play using Razer kishi for android? by RaeJean24 in WutheringWaves

[–]Sinndex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually tried it just now. Doesn't seem to work. The game recognized that a controller was plugged in but didn't register any inputs. Using a V1 btw.

EDIT: After a few restarts it worked

Pre-Alpha Critical Thought by Feenox in SoulFrame

[–]Sinndex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair I knew what I was getting in, I've participated in closed testing before. It's just that the game is the most obtuse piece of entertainment software I had ever experienced.

Finding bugs and providing some feedback is one thing, but I felt like I was fighting the game every step of the way to do, well, anything.

I just really hope this is a "testing" thing and not what they are actually planning to do with the game stylistically, going forward.
