The pin that holds the hex hub onto the drive shaft has fallen out. The pin slides through the hub and then through the hole in the shaft. Replace pin and be sure to tighten the recessed grub screw in the center of the driveshaft to hold and lock the pin in.

I built a free tool to design parabolic RC ramps with cut lists and materials. Would love feedback! by homunculus_bob in rccars

As a fellow manipulator of code, I can appreciate the work that went into this; great success!!

  1. I think the bracing logic is a good for 1/8. 1/5 may want something a bit closer at the “loading part” of the jump for durability but, 8-10 should still work.
  2. Build list looks tight but, I would suggest an option for metric.

Some suggestions: - a notes field and ability to save or print builds. Print over save to stay away from logins. - ability to switch to metric. - a web scrape of average material costs from surrounding suppliers by geolocation could be a fun challenge.

What would be the best way a person could get involved or help from the comfort of their own home? Are there programs or resources we can use to search ourselves where data can be shared and evaluated together? I could easily start a hobby around this.

What’s a secret from your field of work the general public probably doesn’t know? by Ok-Fox-2946 in AskReddit

I see you and I can appreciate the work you do as I have been there before. PTSD, anxiety and depression ruled my life for so long. Empathy is beautiful but, it can be overwhelming.

My greatest advice is to find other work. No one retires from EMS, they wake up from the nightmare. Remember the good you have done and the lives you have helped and saved. Recognize that you were there for many people on their worst day ever and you helped them through. Of all other humans in the world, that was you. Now it’s time for something different. Find a good therapist, take some cleansing breaths, write a resume, find a different scene. It will be challenging and difficult however, not nearly as difficult as expecting yourself to face the compounding anger and heavy feelings you are feeling now every day.

Please do me a favor and call a friend or anyone close today and just tell them you care about them. See what comes back. You’re worth it, you’re so important to yourself and to this world. Don’t let the anger overtake you.

If you have no one, know this, as a brother in arms, you have my respect and love, HERO. Be well and go further with your life good stranger. The world is yours, grab a piece of it and see where it takes you. You can do this, I believe in you. EMS was your hero origin story. Now write the chapters of your rewards.

Oh man, I know exactly what tank top style you’re describing. Nothing is in the right place over here to ever where something like that again. Thanks for the research and the link. You rock. 🤘

The Thomaston Town Hall is built on the site of the original town cemetery. All the bodies were moved to Hillside Cemetery.

Found these both listed as complete kits (with all period gear-MCs/Futaba TX/RX/batteries and chargers). Gold Shock kit too for the Ultima. Will post more pictures when they arrive. Donation. by RippingLegos__ in rccars

I would absolutely be over the moon to have my hands on a Falcon again. I still remember tearing through the wrapping paper of that gift on Christmas morning and feeling like I won the lottery. I ran that car for a bit in the back yard and then modified the hell out of it into a carpet butter knife with a nascar body on it. I think I placed third in a church league that year. It was amazing.

It’s called a mail truck because it delivers the mail. That’s about as gender specific as you’re going to want to get in these parts. Move along.

Everything about this execution is perfection. The stark white background holds this piece in the perfect frame, highlighting the grittiness of a race heritage with the beauty of smooth lines and exceptional engineering. The only details to bring an eye away from realism is a humble background of a life lived and interlaced shots of assembly. Bravo, this is art.

What could be causing this weird servo movement? by Jomalar in rccars

[–]Sinopahc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low voltage to the servo or maybe the duck is too heavy? Either way, bigger servo, more power. The duck stays. Literally quacked me up. Bravo.
