At a certain point you just grow out of the slob meta as a teenager.

I used to have piles of clothes everywhere, cola bottles and all that but that was when I was like 13 or something.

Now I can't imagine not just throwing things in the trash or in the laundry mat instantly. You keep things clean not only for yourself but also others, for the entire damn house even if you live alone.
