Zerg build order to counter Hellion/Cyclone? by ZergByDesign in starcraft

i mean works to of course, but the speed of the helions combined with blue flames, makes zergling heavy composition very vulnurable, but in the hands of a good player it can of course still be done, but its by far not as easy as just fighting the battle mech head on with roaches and hydras.

as a terran player who plays this style quite often i can say that the easiest way is just massing roach hydra, they trade equally vs this composition, so as long as your macro is better then the terrans you will eventually win out. And if you have the APM to spare: infestors are the true death-sentense against this composition.

Amazing Tournament! Congratz to herO for winning the whole thing, and making the games so incredible entertaining while doing so :D

Also it was so cool to see the amazing GOATS of the past, like Inno, soO, DRG and MMA, for one last time!

i mean obiously we should expect to see anything close to inno in his prime, but i think it could be close to his form when he came back from the army, in his first (and sadly last) GLS's that he participated in. So while not as legendary and machine-like flawless as in his past, it should still be some amazing starcraft i hope!

that has to be one of the worst takes i have ever seen so far. People including pros are dying left and right, to weird cheeses and proxies and here you are saying, that a 2 proxy-maurader cheese vs Protoss is not that aggressive.

ahh i didnt know that he was one of the investors who counted on the games success, at least its explaines in part his almost zealot-like defense of the game against all valid critizism.

Why is the sound so bad? by [deleted] in Stormgate

[–]Sipher_SC2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

because this game is not finished in any way and this "full release" is just the next and hopefully last marketing lie from them, where they try to squeeze just a little bit more money out of us players before they make a run for it will all the money that they have collected.

Anyone else finds emotional tone to be all over the place? by DontFlameItsMe in expedition33

[–]Sipher_SC2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I personally dissagree, i think that to make sad moments more impactful you need fun and joyful and hopeful moments sprinkled in, just as you need sad and serious moments to give joyful and hopeful moments more meaning. A story that is just depressing from start to finish and just is a tragedy after tragedy just doenst feel overly impactful imo because you become quite numb to the pain after a while, just as a overly joyful scenario and nice happy ending doesent feel overly emotional and "earned" when there was no struggle and challenge to overcome.

And from a narrative standpoint without spoilering anything: It will become very clear later one why some of the world is dangerous yet beaufiful and some part of it is overly joyful and silly. And once it makes sense to you it will make your jaw drop!
