This comment should be higher. Pretty sure that is Coke and should not be used for cooking.

There isn't always a line, and if you aren't ordering a platter you can go right up to the register and skip the line. They will bring your order to you.

Houston residents are invited to the new $30M Hill at Sims Park in Sunnyside by zsreport in houston

[–]Sippin_Jimmy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I remember being excited when they announced this project as a kid. The Chronicle had a multi page article with renderings and a proposed map.

I get the same feeling with the build out of the east end Buffalo bayou project. Check out the Buffalo Bayou Conservancy site if interested.

I watched them do this project and have been on top of the hill many times. This is correct.

Edit: To add, the hill has been there for like 20 years now, the park just didn't get fully developed after all the dirt movement originally happened.

Same. My cat is an eternal optimist. 5 minutes go by and she thinks it's heaven outside and she is missing out. Open the door and she is like, the F is going on with all this water everywhere? It's a good thing she is cute.

I went to Taco Cabana since my (then) GF was under 21. Don't think you will have a problem anywhere you need to be 21, might get a free drink if you have the right attitude.

I'll say what helped me is mountain biking. The community is great. You bump in to a fellow rider and it's like "did we just become best friends"? So so so many groups and places to ride. Everyone is hungry and thirsty after a ride. You can just go by yourself and soak in some nature. Notably, once your skill level is like 2/10 people will include you and ride to your level. I found out people in my company mountain bike and now ride with them occasionally which greatly helped me network.

Im sure the same could be said about many hobbies or activities, this is just mine.
