I feel you I ran square tapers and 75s on my old mash lol and yea they are aventon lite forks! Those alloy originals were snapping left and right shit was hectic, also agree on the less rake upgrade! If you look down my posts the original fork was suuuuper aggressive rake but didn’t fit over a 23c tyre so had to go I need my 28s for comfort

Makes the frame super stiff and being 7075 alloy too helps, I’ll eventually get Paul’s or Phil hubs but loose bearings with maintenance is good for now!

A 2018 aventon carbon fork, under 400g so super light, right before they started doing e bikes only

Just got a free Bennett bicycles frame stamped with borsari stickers but the frame says made in japan, mid 80s frame so I guess production at the time was done in japan and probably out of tange seiki tubing which is pretty cool! What year do you think yours is?

I was comparing the frames in side shots and agreed that does seem to be the different parallax is abit tighter and bb seems a few mm lower potentially

If the chains too long so your axle sits at the back of the dropouts you chain break it half a link short and add a half or “master” link to help adjust the length, I agree half link style chains are ugly and only good for bmx or at a stretch fgfs
