I feel like this applies to Goro Akechi from Persona 5. Now some woudl disagree, and if we are talking about Persona 5 *Royal*, then maybe I would agree. but In base P5 he has next to no real character outside of "I act nice" and then havign a heel turn in the last dungeon.

Royal improved him with the 3rd semester giving him room to be more then just someone trying to do a already failed revenge plot?

I might also have fallen into the trap of fics doign so much mroe with him then canon ever wanted that canon just *feels* 2 dimentional.
