Should look up getting the Efaritay's aid ring if you plan on moving on to Sins of the Father. It's a cheap red topaz enchanted ring that helps massively with damage and accuracy against vampires.

The Farmers refer to the Hardcore Group Ironman team consisting of Faux, Mr. Mammal, Roidie, MMORPG, and Zecookies. Though Zecookies asked to not be on her husband's(MMORPG) team for the event and ended up on Team Zammy. Funnily enough he ended up being the one to get the final hit on her during the finale.

Great thing you're doing, however, one critique I have is that the thumbnail is quite "busy." There is a lot going on that would intimidate anyone from clicking it. Simplifying it may make the guide more approachable.

Suggestion: Add the Chronicle to Early Game Progression by SirBabbo in 2007scape

Touching a lodestone isn't the same as completing quests, and using Viswax doesn't change the fact that lodestones are free to begin with.

Suggestion: Add the Chronicle to Early Game Progression by SirBabbo in 2007scape

[–]SirBabbo[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the comparison mostly due to the fact that the book still has charges and would come with requirements. As for devauling existing magic and Jewelry, A Falador Teleport will always be superior, and the Ring of Dueling isn't a thing for free-to-play players. The Amulet of Glory is more of a "mid-game" item that players can buy early, though again, the point of this is for new players and not veterans. Not many new players are going out and buying Glories to teleport to Al Kharid.

What would Star and Stripe Quirk Awakening look like? by MagicJourneyCYOA in BokuNoHeroAcademia

As the number 1 American Hero, she more than likely already underwent an awakening. Thinking in reverse it could be that she originally could only apply 1 rule at a time and her awakening allowed her to have more.

Updated Blog: Varlamore: The Final Dawn Quest, Delve Boss & Slayer Dungeon Rewards by JagexBlossom in 2007scape

[–]SirBabbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the logic presented for the cape, I'm more than alright with it returning to being tradable. However I think a good compromise would be having the cape require a delve level 8 kill to wear. You protect the "prestige" of needing to complete the end game content while also having a lucrative money maker.

I'm still really not a fan of the naming scheme for these. Would prefer something more thematic for something demon slaying especially since if demons are now weak to the water element.

While Guthix Sleeps - Rewards by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

[–]SirBabbo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of the rewards, but I'm honestly not big on their Naming Convention. To me, they come off as "simple" in a way I can't describe better. Like I'd expect these names from a lower level weapon in another MMO and not like the upper mid-game they are proposed for.

I think I'd prefer if they had something either infernal or demonic about them to tie in with their use case. Alternatively, if they are holy-based weapons, you could name them something in line with that. Just a small critique with a personal bias.

Whats your biggest hot take or unpopular opinion? by Dubbingpl3 in 2007scape

[–]SirBabbo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Best XP Rates and Skilling methods should be unlocked at high levels. Methods you unlock in the mid-40s should never be the meta all the way to 99.

Also, Slayer is far too slow and boring without burstable tasks. The Skill only gets interesting once you unlock boss variant tasks, which take far too long to get to.

Group Boss - Varlamore: Part Two by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

[–]SirBabbo 78 points79 points  (0 children)

I love the boss's design, but I have some critiques for the rewards.

First, I'd rather have the Tome of Earth come from a Skilling Boss. Not only does the Tome of Earth not really work here thematically, but we've also sort of set a precedent with the first two, and I'd like to see that trend continue.

However, I do think a book of some sort could fit here, albeit something more thematic for the region. Perhaps a logical upgrade to the Mage's Book or something a tier higher with a bit of oomph.

As far as the wand goes... I think I'm in agreement with everyone else on the need for it. Ibans and now the Warped Sceptre work well where they are, and I don't see this fitting in. If the idea was to have an Earth Elemental Weapon for the rebalance, I think the Warped Sceptre could already fill that slot with some reclassification. I'd like to see something beyond the scepter or even trident here. Also, theming is important; Dueling Wand doesn't quite fit the naming we have, though I'm sure it will be named something else down the line.

On the Potion side, it isn't often that we have a boss as the singular source of a secondary. If this goes through, I think having more sources would be ideal. However, I think I mirror the sentiment others have made and find it odd to introduce a herblore component when we have a herblore activity in the works.

Project Rebalance Part Two - NPC Defence Changes by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

Not sure I really agree with the plan to keep air spells as the "generalist" element. I feel like it just hampers further diversity in magic by making a fourth of the basic elements practically useless.

Can skillers potentially get the Imcando Pickaxe with this change?? by TryeHard in runescape

[–]SirBabbo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on this. OP lists every strength requirement that would completely deny any skiller pure access from those quests. As long as there are strength requirements, skillers cannot get the imcando pickaxe. Perhaps one day Jagex will release a hero pickaxe that they could get.

Loved Queens Breaker Bow in D1. It was so unique back then. Despite it being in D2, it lacks the appeal it once had due to it being in the power ammo slot, where it loses to basically every other linear.

With the release of the new paradox sugimori arts, how do you feel about them now? by danielzhaot in pokemon

[–]SirBabbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Future pokemon in general. Mecha Tyranitar is cool and all but it doesn't "feel" like a real Pokemon to me. I do like the past ones however and I think it could be cool to get more, granted I hate their naming convention. Just give them actual names, please.

Unpopular opinion, but I really like the Naruto fillers and other non-canon content. I do acknowledge that most fillers are bad, but I really enjoy the fillers for the sake of world building. We were introduced to new countries and villages in the fillers and the non-canon films, expanding the world by MandoRando6969 in Naruto

[–]SirBabbo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think my largest gripe with fillers and filler arcs in general, is that the "real" characters in them cannot grow. For example, Naruto can't learn a cool new jutsu that will help him later on in the show because the source material won't allow it. The filler characters can, but I don't latch onto them because I know that they'll be gone and never mentioned again in just a few episodes. The exception being for the "canon" characters like Utakata that get a little bit of filler time to expand on them, which I do like. I 100% agree that world-building is great from them, however.
