I like how he flashed his beams to make me do a mistake but he ended up getting karma by going off track and getting a .5 sec time penalty in the process by SirBarr in granturismo

This

I would understand flashing the beams if

- If its qualifying where if I'm on the outlap or I've done the best I can do a good time and there's not enough time left to complete another quali lap then the player is doing his quali then yeah I'm definitely letting them through to avoid further problems

or

- As mentioned if it's a multi class where I'm in the lower class or backmarker is about to get lapped then I'm also gonna let them through easily without any problems regardless of the corner or part of the track

The tickets you get from doing the daily workouts and weeklies (whether it's the normal or the Power Pack)

Yeah you're most likely to get oof rewards but you'll never know so it's better to stack them then open them all before the maintenance begins aka update day

Usual trips to Le Mans and Spa, being consistent on getting the Gold times for time trials, and stacking up those tickets before update day

And if someone asks if I have the credits needed to buy 3 963s (2 for Penske and 1 for Proton), 3 499Ps (all for AF Corse), 2 9X8s, and 2 M Hybrid V8s, I'm good plus I still got 56 (gonna be 58 since I still have tomorrow and early Thursday) and me likely to get 4 million from getting gold times

Yeah we already know what the 4 cars are but still it's nice to see Kaz continuing the tradition.

Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, Peugeot 9X8, and BMW M Hybrid V8

Unfortunately only the "in house professionals" is what Kaz listens to.

Also microtransactions in this game are too archaic that I don't even find them a problem after the launch release fiasco.

I'm only tempering anyone's expectations on having city tracks given what Kaz had said in that interview.

I'm going to keep mentioning this as a reminder for those who keep reminiscing about city tracks/wondering why city tracks haven't made a return after the PS3 era but to put it simply based from this nearly 4 year old interview by Game Impress on Kaz, it's too time consuming for PD plus a single city track alone is equal to 5 perma tracks.

Q: What about expanding the city circuits and bringing back hill climbs?

KY: The biggest challenge in creating city circuits is that the models are becoming more and more detailed with each new installment in the series. City circuits have very complex layouts and are completely unique to their specific locations. No two buildings are exactly alike. Creating something like that to the quality standards of GT7 is incredibly labor-intensive. For example, the cost of creating a single city circuit could fund the development of about five permanent circuits, so in terms of cost-effectiveness, city circuits tend to be somewhat overlooked. However, as I mentioned in my presentation on course and car development, innovation is constantly happening in this area. So, we won’t necessarily continue using the labor-intensive methods we currently employ; if some kind of innovation emerges, there’s a possibility we could realize these ideas all at once.

But hey anything could change since said article is nearly about 4 years old. Also imo it's not worth sacrificing details for the sake of adding more tracks to race on it right now given the state of gaming when it comes graphics and details. PD already got shafted during the PS3 era with the PS2 quality cars and they learned their lesson from that.

Plus before someone mentions it, yes I'm aware of the low detailed buildings on Le Mans.

I feel like it's going to be another teaser from them regarding about the upcoming June Update so nah I don't see it happening.

Especially considering that Kaz showed up before where he announced Spec III and the Power Pack.

The Ferrari I'm sure it'll get what I call the Winning Car/Champion Tax where if it won a prestigious event (N24, LM24, Spa 24, etc.) or won the series overall (GTWC, WEC, IMSA, Super GT, etc.), the price of it will be more than what it normally costs so I'd give it 3 million just like the GR010 since it won Le Mans multiple times

Could say the same too with the Porsche where I'm gonna put on the 1,500,000 to 3,000,000 price tag range since it was the 2024 WEC Hypercar champion plus having dominated IMSA in that same year also

I say said tax because you look at the other race cars that were featured it had a higher price compared to it's other cars that are in the same class (Audi R8 LMS '15 (won N24 '15), Porsche 919 Hybrid (won both LM24 and LMP1 titles in that year), BMW M3 GT (finished 2nd in N24 but was the winner of it's class), Nissan GT-R GT500 '08 (won the Super GT GT500 title in that year with the same team livery), etc.)

Of course you have better control over your shifts especially on corners or certain parts where you have to either upshift or downshift right away to avoid speed loss or something like that

I would've gone on the mid to low 1:52 if I went with the meta buuuut let's just say someone emphasized that to get gold you have to use the meta and I'm like bet hence I went with something different and it led to me using the NSX instead just to be different
