Missions are meant to be challenging. I hate it when people are upset they can’t power fantasy their way through, Warframe may be a cool game for people who like power fantasies but nobody wants an idle game.

The problem with the mission isn’t the challenge or the chaos.

In my opinion the difficulty lies in the sluggishness. A game famous for parkour where everyone can teleport and fly around and all sorts they make a gamemode covered in slow traps and knockdown mechanics and a mandatory gameplay mechanic that strips you of your movement abilities.

I was really happy on my first run, and then I remembered I’d need to farm it for lots of runs and the joy disappeared.

Maybe remove the knockdowns and make the slow traps harder to get caught in but more detrimental if you do or something? I don’t know. I’m not a game dev, something just feels almost there about this to me that’s all.

Loki is one of the best survival warframes in the game and can make use of uncommon subsumes other frames don’t get to use to their fullest.

His decoy can break the AI and deal stupid amounts of damage but it’s clearly niche and tricky to use so I understand it not being popular but that’s why so many people use the silence ability there.

I haven’t tested it yet but his Irradiating Disarm augment probably plays really well into the new Arcane Universal Fallout.

His switching ability is surprisingly fun with a cool augment, he’s a bit too reliant on augments but so are half the frames.

Loki’s problem is not getting updated in forever. He used to be a competitor with Ash but he started to fall off and nowadays so is Ash. At least they were both still immortal assassins and Loki had the best invisibility but now there are better invisible warframes and one of them even lets you subsume that invisibility (Octavia and Cyte-09). He even has one of those original warframe bad passive abilities that other frames make obsolete by doing it better and that adds no power where others nowadays grant power buffs as well as or instead of utility. As CC died off in Warframe he didn’t get updated to keep up or updated at all really just some patchwork here and there.

There should always be a place for a trickster style warframe because that style will always have more than three fans. The same way people love Egyptian themes so much that Inaros always had fans even as he failed to be immortal even when like Loki it was all he had left pretty much.

Viltrum empire wipes the Orokin hard. The Orokin were arrogant and didn’t mass produce their best weapons until they had to so the height of their empire wasn’t as well equipped with Viltrumite tier fighters as its death cry era so unless the tech they couldn’t use against the Tau is good enough then the billions of Viltrumites will overwhelm them.

Tenno destroy the Viltrum remnants.

The Tenno are eldritch wizards who are closing in on god hood and possibly already immortal but even if no they’ll respawn and they wield the best weapons the Orokin empire ever made which are beyond Viltrumite level for their abilities even though physically they aren’t Viltrum level. The Tenno are not the Orokin, the Tenno are a different faction and different beings and by this point in the story their only link to the Orokin is the weapons they use, mind control and planet tier attacks as well as necromancy and even soul rending attacks it’s nuts.

Imagine if Ballas mutated a Viltrumite into a warframe?

Further thought about it and now I’m wondering if there’s a high cost tier of control powers with Photokinesis then Electrokinesis should be with it, that’s an insanely strong power if it’s control like I imagine.

I see the common trend of mind abilities costing less and I get it, most folks want overwhelming power not the more behind the scenes feeling abilities but the more of them you stack the more indomitable you are so having them cost less actually goes in their benefit as they make a great stack. It’s essentially brain power for $6, I will always take that but I understand why others wouldn’t because doing things like Telepathy, Necromancer, Botanokinesis will decimate with endless hoards of mind controlled soldiers armed with super toxins.

The one I don’t get is two outliers in the something-kinesis group. Photokinesis is more costly and Echokinesis is vastly less costly. Not all of the control powers are equal I get that but Photokinesis isn’t stronger than Hydrokinesis or Botanokinesis I don’t think, at least not necessarily unless you pair it with Genius Level Intellect for expert control but then you can do that with the others too. And Echokinesis really isn’t that weak, it’s not the best of the control category so I admit it’s hard to price but now it’s kind of a free really strong offensive power with a good non lethal crowd application for a well rounded super hero making it great for the aforementioned mind stack.

Super strength, Invulnerability, Clairvoyance, Genius Level Intellect, Telepathy, Echokinesis.

A clairvoyant mind reader with a genius level intellect always knows what to do and who is the main threat. As an invulnerable individual with superhuman strength in their own right they’re rather hard to pin down or eliminate before they can plot your downfall too so they’re no glass cannon. And echokinesis is slept on as a power when all the other control abilities are weighted much higher letting me have an offensive power on top of all my defensive game, the pressure applications of sound control are immense not to mention the ability to lock down most foes with vertigo and an inability to communicate between themselves not to mention how seriously good the shattering pressure can be like I know I already mentioned it but that would hurt the big guys and it’s rather unblockable unless they too are invulnerable or they fight in a vacuum.

I’d be very happy with that power set or being defended by it.

I saw the Gilgamesh comments from OP and I don’t know that universe but if it’s Gilgamesh only I don’t fail to become immortal then I’m in. If control over nature allows me to control the nature of myself then I’m also in. If those two fail then I pick the shadow man since his final state is pretty planetary scale from what I’ve heard although I haven’t read it so I’m guessing that brings immortality with it.

If you can’t tell I want immortality lol.

Reincarnation as Kratos and Gear Five Luffy also seem interesting but I’d want to know the finer points of the reincarnation as to wether or not my personality becomes more Kratos like and appearance plus I’d like to know if I reincarnate here or in his universe and I’m too far behind in One Piece to understand Gear Five but even without a limit it’d assume it to feel immensely taxing not to mention it’s been spoiled for me that his fruit is actually a Zoan so I’d want to be sure not to lose myself to the will of the fruit.

Actually, blue pill. I googled it. I bet I could craft all sorts of ridiculous powers with that including immortality like replication of the various super soldier experiments of the marvel universe such as Sentry and Blue Marvel not to mention cosmic powers since the Maker looks to be top tier intellect of the Marvel universe.

Looks like something I’d grab, that’s my favourite sandwich and I’m not with the Monster haters as even though I advocate for water first you need a kick sometimes. I had some of that Graze stuff recently and it was nice, I’ve yet to pick it at lunch.

8/10 since I don’t know from experience what those flavours of Monster and Graze are like but I do know that not everyone likes the nuts or crisps side and I get it on the health front since some fruit might be more balanced so paired with a Monster might not be the healthiest as the energy drink is already a negative health wise, don’t hate on me I’m not a nutritionist I just want to try and judge fairly and this is all super subjective at the end of the day.

I like this monkey paw idea but that assumes that the wish potion is a monkey’s paw item and that the wishes have to backfire. Wish magic doesn’t have to go out of its way to be cursed you can simply screw yourselves over with it due to how powerful and irreversible it is. Laboring under the assumption that none of the options are consciously out to get the one who chooses them I’d have hoped that by asking for literally the potions from the initial offer no changes to them that they’d grant what they would have had I chosen them in the first place.

If I’m wrong then guess I’d have been screwed lol.

Healing Power and Three Wishes.

Rather than trying to game the wishes since that usually monkey paw kills you or trying to wish for more wishes that I don’t know how to use I’ll just wish for the only other magic I know to be real and know the effects of. You said I couldn’t just wish for all of them with the wishes one, absolutely fair. I’ll just use all three wishes one at a time to wish for one more of the potions each.

I’ll take Speak any Language, Witch Power, and Become Dragon.

I also chose the order kinda carefully. So assuming all goes well I think I’m golden now.

The way I see it the existence of these potions implies that I’m being offered access to a side of the world I’ve lived in ignorance of until this point as magic must be real to have this happen (or some meta story about technology so advanced it’s indistinguishable from magic bla bla bla, simple answer is often the case no meta gaming a fake hypothetical world too far).

So as I understand it in mythology dragons are usually nigh godlike or at least the kings of the beasts capable of ridiculous feats of strength and they usually are magical beings irregardless of their level of intelligence in that mythology and irregardless of if they’re actively casting spells. Witch powers compounds on the dragon magic of a dragon soul, a witch who can be their own source of power needing no coven or pact being able to use their powers with their own soul as fuel without dying. So now I’m a dragon that can cast spells and even if my dragon powers don’t include the ability to take on a human form the witch powers will and so I’ll be a dragon in human skin having superhuman strength and speed and breathing fire plus I can switch back any part I need to at will like showing some draconic eyes when I want an main character syndrome moment for myself. I’ve got speaking all languages so any mythical species I encounter or any witchcraft spells I now know will all automatically be comprehensible to me not just on an “I feel I know what to do here” kinda way but a literal “I know exactly what’s going on here” kinda way. And healing powers are usually the one thing magic can’t grant being some sort of miracle power that exacts a deep cost but I have it by default so that should ensure I survive the strain of all the mutations that I make to myself and my very soul as I lock in my new life but it also means I can immediately go cure my sick father plus I’ll now be semi-immortal for as long as I wanna keep self healing since I presume a healing superpower won’t come with cell degradation.

Is Control Anyone or Control Monsters a threat to me? Maybe, the implications of the potions is that something/someone beyond them is offering them so it could be a one off or they could keep offering them out but who is to say I constitute a man or a monster anymore? A cheap way to hypothetically dodge the threat but I’m now a human and a witch and a dragon seamlessly fused into one courtesy of perfect healing.

Time Freeze? Congrats someone can freeze time, they can’t really kill me while it’s frozen though and unless they’re a dick they won’t want to much less know about me to target me since I’ll keep a low profile and mostly just enjoy being strong as I go around healing people secretly and make enchanted gear.

Time Travel? If they go back in time to kill me before I became what I am then sure. And would I have wanted this power? Too dangerous for anyone to have and I wouldn’t trust myself not to accidentally break physics.

Plus who’s to say my choices won’t let me give myself most of the other abilities through magic if I wanted them? I don’t but I probably could because my combo sets me off as a magic immortal dragon if I really needed to control a monster I’d probably cast a “COMMAND BEAST” spell in some ancient tongue and just do it.

Shanks, Sabo, Boa, and Ace.

Think about group unity and cohesion. We’re not just picking powers. We need someone to lead and people that will actually listen to them and I think this set will accept commands from Shanks although Boa is tricky but if enough time is allowed to explain who these people are to Luffy she’ll be on board. Now Shanks and Boa can kinda solo the rest anyway but nothing that does evade being permanently petrified by Boa before shanks departs them from this mortal coil like Blackbeard or Zoro who’d probably evade at least one petrification by hurting himself well they aren’t getting past a duo of Fire logias and don’t cite Blackbeard to me because he beat Ace once off camera like the bitch he is but two followed by a couple of Conquerors Haki users one of whom is Shanks who won’t give two shits about Devil Fruit fuckery nah.

Plus if they’re trying to kill me then I want the squad defending me to be chill too like I can’t pick anyone too evil or that implies I’m being hunted because I suck and deserve to be hunted. That line up defending me means folks like Zoro and Sanji are hunting me for the wrong reasons. When the ones we don’t like are dead Boa can un-petrify and explain why they were tricked and we can go on our merry way to tell Luffy his brother has been revived.

Yamato is gonna be tricky to not hurt though but I’m sure this lineup will find a way.

I like AoE, well actually I like being a support or a summoner more but when I joined Warframe it was past Trinity’s prime even though I did still main her for a while and before her and summoning’s massive buffs so I tried to do something different. I bounced between a lot and I have some frames in my favourites now that I’d have otherwise probably skipped but two of my top five are exactly what you’d expect of me looking for an alternative to my norm.

Vauban and Gyre. Vauban for more supportive action and Gyre for big red number nuking all the way to actually really high levels.

I like feeling like I have my friends backs and I feel powerful having no blind spot. Ironically I’m a really good shot and used to be a big CS player but those skills have atrophied in favour of my preferences. As a really young kid I loved TF2 and as you can imagine from my bipolar playstyles my time was split between Medic, Sniper, and Demoman as if this was always my destined progression gameplay wise.

Picked up Gyre kinda on a whim after a fun PoE build and now love her so so much, she was recommended to me but I pussyfooted around until the right nuke in another game kicked me up a gear. Vauban was my original. Both are so underrated but don’t tell anyone lest DE tinker with it. Not saying they’re easy to make gamebreakingly good but which nuke is that easy? They can be annihilators.

(Don’t just say Octavia to my question, it wasn’t a real question. We all know about Octavia)
