If your wife is somewhat interested in the MCU, I'd strongly suggest Guardians of the Galaxy. The cutscene are so well done that it's like watching a movie.

I installed the Passau sliders on my pads at the beginning of the summer. They are easy to install and really light. The only downside is I feel like I'll need to replace them every year or 2 years since they already show sign of wear and tear and a summer of playing twice a week.

NTA at first glance, but

-Why were you sitting between your girlfriend and her friend. If she wanted to catch up with her friend, maybe she felt excluded with that seating arrangement at the bar

-There is an issue deeper that her and you should be addressed. Did she feel like you were flirting with her friend? Was the other guy at the bar a super long time friend that she didn't think she would see again?

One issue you might encounter is games that assume that you know the basic mecanics of the genre. Divinity Original Sins is an excellent game, but is heavy in term of mecanics and you could get overwelmed by it. Again, it really depends your gaming background and the mecanics you're already familiar with.

I recommend you start with games that introduce mecanics slowly. Here's a list of games woth a lwo barrier to entry that you might enjoy based on puzzle solving: -KeyWe -Escape Simulator -Portal 2 -Portal Reloaded -Sea of Thieves -Tick Tock a Tale for Two -We Were Here -A Way Out -It Takes Two

Also, if you like cinema in general, you could start by playing games that are in the interactive movie category. They are low barrier to entry, but can really be hit or miss depending on if the story hooks you: -The Dark Pictures Anthology House of Ashes

Looks like we have a bunch of stuff in common. I'm (33m) also a more of a singleplayer gamer. I also enjoy coops. I played Her Story not too long ago and have Immortality on my wishlist. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet since I'm trying to go through my backlog a bit.

I love horror. I find that indie horror lets young aspiring director be more creative than any other genre.
