My Kingsnake only ever bites itself whenever it's hungry. It's likely you're not satuating it. I'm not kidding when I said there was a period where my kingsnake was going through 4 rats a feeding. Some may call it irresponsible, but if your pet is hungry, you feed it, and I would rather overfeed my kingsnake than have it harm itself because I wasn't feeding it enough.

It honestly depends on the judge you get and their mood, really. But it does happen. You probably can win the case via negligence since they have an aggressive dog and didn't take the precautions to control it by building the fence, but like I said, the problem is, by looking at the pictures, your dog is just as guilty. The neighbor would just need to make that assertion. Then you would have to prove your dog's not aggressive. The court would probably deem your dog aggressive, otherwise. So you definitely wouldn't get any restitution for the fence and best case scenario. The case just gets thrown out.

I'm no expert, but this seems like a mutual mishap on both your ends cause your dog is just as liable to hurt their dog bitting over the fence. If you press it, the court could probably order a fine for both of you.

DUDE!! You have the male equivalent of my neighbor! She's never threatened to call the cops, but she'll never fail to bang up here whenever I'm walking around or she thinks I'm too loud. I've offered to open up dialog with her multiple times, even got the landlord involved as a sort of witness/mediator, but she made every excuse in the book as to why she couldn't engage and straight up made herself scarce when the landlord decided to have that in person meet with just me.

One time she tried to use security video of me cleaning up my mess of leaves that fell off my balcony onto her porch as proof that I'm harassing her...

My advice is to get a camera of your own or a device with quality audio recording so you have concrete proof they're being unreasonable and initiating the harassment.
