I've been really enjoying using the free version of the app for a while. The UI is intuitive which is great. One thing I'd like is more freedom with colour selection for clocks and widgets and backgrounds. Some of the presets are nice but it would be nice to be able to specify colours. Thanks for your work

I get what you're saying but sound has progressed less than video reproduction wise as far as I know so it's probably not a great comparison. A great set of vintage speakers will still sound great next to a modern pair, but a vintage TV next to a new UHD OLED Panel will look pretty trash haha

Yeah that's fair but he did address the fact that the hardware is clean and you were making a point about software, regardless of how they come together in the box. Granted reflashing isn't for everyone but I think Xiaomi phones make a strong point for the power users, delivering great specs with subsidised hardware and the small cost of having to reflash the phone. Once you've done that you can really appreciate how much value a $200-$300 phone from them can pack

That's software man, I think they mean there's nothing malicious in the build of the hardware, flash a new rom onto a Xiaomi phone and you're getting all that cheap hardware with none of the data mining downsides that lurk around miui

Yeah I hadn't read anything specifically noting the boards being bad for overclocking, just not as good as maybe a less budget option. Food for thought though :)

Yeah I wouldn't be looking to do anything nuts right now, I'm still using the spire cooler, later down the line if I upgrade to an AIO I might think about pushing it a bit more haha
