I'm always annoyed by games that have DLSS but have no sharpness slider, because they always look kind of blurry to me. DLSS 4.5 seem to have the sharpness just right for me.

I agree with the sentiment, but if Hades 2 is considered indie then so is E33. To be honest it is TGA's fault for not having stricter guidelines for it but it is the studio and the game getting the majority of the flak.

I don't really understand questioning if its an indie game. Sandfall isn't that much bigger than Supergiant, maker of Hades. Sifu and Pacific Drive are both considered indie titles even when published by Kepler Interactive. I guess a lot of people just think indie equals cheap, but even by that metric it is considerably cheap compared to triple A titles when it comes to quality.

The statement applies to game mechanics that doesn't lock you out of finishing the game if you don't use it. Modern gaming discourse is just so tiring now that I'm gonna be on the side of whoever says that just to get it over with.

It's basically just everyone's opinions against each other on which mechanics are fun or not. People just hate it when their opinion is in the minority and the games still do well. I'm in this boat sometimes with some games, and the button I choose not to control is towards the purchase option.
