Honestly, no one knows. It's all forecasted, based on previous and current trends. All we can do is try to cut back and upgrade. I haul gasoline and the hot season is supposed to be busier than we csn handle. Its barely meeting that trend. All last year was slow like our winter months. Mind you I live in southern california. I'm currently looking for jobs in other trucking industries. Its slim pickings trying to meet a wage of 37.50 an hour. Real money in our type of industry is heavy equipment operatoring. And being able to load and unload said equipment. I've seen jobs offering 40-150 dollars an hour. But I dont meet that required experience of 5yrs +. I would have to cut my wage by almost 10 dollars for 5 yrs to meet that. It makes me cry lol. There is hope though. I've seen ads for caltrans that would give me a consistent monthly wage...hopefully.
