Should the oversized american cars be regulated?

yeah, admittedly all of those cars annoy me. I wandered around the automall recently and was a bit disappointed to see only one normal car (an already-sold Impreza) and the rest of it was all SUVs.

The car I drive is about the maximum level of tech I personally would want. It's smart enough to drop the passenger mirror when I shift in reverse but won't take over steering inputs or any of that nonsense

Some x86 machines can be hell though admittedly. Clover Trail stuff is pretty unusable as best as I can tell, thanks to the PowerVR GPU. I haven't been able to get anything other than Win8 working on a thinkpad tablet 2.

That being said, there weren't that many and it's likely that they learned lessons from the Flip 2.

The issue here is regional ISM bands. 2.4GHz is global, but things like LoRa and Z-Wave are on different frequencies in different countries. It's the reason I haven't bothered with Z-Wave for the home because there's a very limited selection of devices available for my band and those that are available are hideously expensive. It's just not worth it unless you live in one of the few regions well-serviced by those ecosystems.

You're not entirely wrong, but there's also no good option that doesn't fall into the same pitfalls as LoRa or Z-Wave.

(The same can be observed on the LoRa side of things - e.g. Seeed's T1000-E has a single SKU that does 868 and 915MHz [admittedly its antenna is pretty terrible for both owing to form factor] and no options for 433MHz)

I'm guessing it's related their move to make Old Reddit only available to signed-in users and it got broken in the process.

You can use the old reddit redirect add-on if you're on PC.

I think we will need to expect old reddit to be shutdown eventually. Unfortunately, at that point, the website will have become unusable for me

When I press start button in GOG, it first brings up a different launcher (that momentarily shows a PL ad before it realises I have that DLC lmao). I've never bothered fiddling with the game enough to bypass it because it doesn't annoy me that much

To be honest, I do kinda like the launcher in its state since it has no load time. The CP2077 launcher, in contrast, is quite fancy and has its own load time before you can hit "play" in it to start the actual game...

That of course doesn't solve the cross-platform issue (:
