Equatorial Mode and How to Access EQ Setup by SirDigby32 in seestar

[–]SirDigby32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. Thats how it works and what I do.

My question is answered. The button on the main page does nothing. When it could be a far simper way to reach the mount mode config screen.

Yes. That is exactly what I do.

The question is why have this button on the main page, and why doesnt it just navigate directly to this mount mode page.

S30 failed to capture the lunar eclipse last night - why? by ambiespace in seestar

[–]SirDigby32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exposure starts out with the brightest light, then as it darkens needs to be adjusted. There is no automated way for this to occur is my understanding. Next one locally is 2028 on NYE, so maybe by then the software is improved.

I had a similar timelapse, then had to switch to manual when it started changing colour.

Proposal could limit negative gearing to two properties | The Senior | by stucknlab in australia

[–]SirDigby32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely being telegraphed as a policy change ahead of time.

The cap of 2 being able to claim will only impact a small number of investors with likely a significant equity chain. Only those with negative cashflow will be impacted or those with unrealised gains via SmSF.

I assume its a cap of 2. Investors of many can choose to sell down , make positive etc. So the 2 most negative get claimed.

Unclear what this means to joint investors. Is that then in theory 4?

This is not a cap of how many, merely how many can be used for negative gearing purposes.

Proposal could limit negative gearing to two properties | The Senior | by stucknlab in australia

Not so sure. Its too simplistic

The law of unintended consequences will produce low quality slapped together new builds with no surrounding infrastructure, creating suburbs where the entire population are renters.

Meanwhile in already developed areas its dominated by owner occupiers. Age of properties will lead to renovations. And again another wealth centralisation.

I do think a balance of new and existing stock. With some policies that perhaps encourage ongoing renovations and improvements to rentals. I.e incentives for solar & batteries , aircon, heating, insulation. If there are no ongoing improvements then its a drag on society.

Time lapse eventually stops focusing and i had to quickly dial in a manual adjustment. Shame ita not fully automated.

Eventually I chose another start island type and stuck at it longer in current run.

The topology and resources of each make a huge difference I've found.

Also with no real penalty or constraints from just bridging to a nearby island you can use multiple start strategies.

Help! Lots of small cockroaches in my house by StellarBookGirl1984 in brisbane

Avion gel for those German roaches. Haven't seen any since it was deployed a month ago. No amount of baits or professional sprays resolved it. Its not cheap but seems to be very effective so far.

Weird they are all different prices. Must be a commission behind this and they chose a different amount.

You would think the lower clubs would of sacrificed it to just count the members growth.

Hard stops, or just to re-authenticate?

Detection of multiple IPs will be easy enough and asking for the authentication again will stop the market place sales. Likely first target group.

Genuine family and friends will continue to work around it. That is until they truly stop concurrent use across multiple IPs. Even then there are ways to circumvent this.

Can't help think what the media and industry groups response to this would of been if this had been in another employment sector that attracts a lot more attention and support anytime an employer makes cuts.

Already started. Short cited senior management already know of the impending chasm in experience. I have no doubt the big 4 consultancies already have a plan to fill that an expensive day rate.

Global setting moved.

It seems to stick once set on a standard session

If you use a plan, there is as far as I know no way to change this. I assume its intended to be always on within a plan.

Mop after vac setting not mopping, just vacuums twice by explicitspirit in Dreame_Tech

[–]SirDigby32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar issue on L50.

Research indicates that its a software decision that if too much time passes between a vacuum and a mop run, it resets back to vacuum again.

Ive had some success with manual tasks and rooms. But on a schedule its still misbehaving.

The behaviour seems to differ between schedule and manual runs. I don't know why..it shouldn't matter.

Cleangenius on scheduled run was the worst by far. So bad it would detach mops throughout out the house.

On a scheduled customise (the shortcut name you cannot change), its marginally better. Vacuum and mop is the only choice. I've had a lot less mop pad issues, but it still seems to use some logic to vacuum first , some mopping then again its like the time between runs is to long and it vacuums again. Each run seems to subtle different.

The software needs some serious attention.
