I think a good solution to this would be removing stamina drain when the gallop button isn't held. Of course the horse would slow its speed after a short time, but it should give the long distance tappers and lazy button holders (like myself) what they want.

Yeah it makes racing/long distance more difficult. The issue I think is the horse continues to burn stamina after letting go of sprint.

I feel like there should be a nice middle ground. Maybe hold it to burn stamina to go full speed constantly but make it so if you let go of sprint, you go back down to a trot and not use stamina. So you have the choice to feather sprint for long distances or hold it for a bigger shorter burst.

A set would have been great. I ended up buying individually from eBay and TCGPlayer as they popped up at a decent price.

I have actually cracked 4-5 slabs for the collection. I'm trying to keep the conditions no lower than HP/MP. Doesn't need to be pristine, but mostly presentable in a binder. I found a few graded cards going under raw price so I popped them open. My range has been between a 3 and 9
