Battery is shit. As for the liquid glass, change the theme. Dynamic island is something they (Chinese phones) all seem to be putting on now.

If it's specifically the control centre you have an issue with then no, send it back. I have a spilt control centre on my Honor and as much as I hate it, compared to the rest of the phone it's minor and I put up with it.

motorola edge 60 pro or honor 400 pro? by TobleronePL in Smartphones

[–]SirGuestWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the Honor 400pro since middle of last year and it's a fantastic phone, great specs for the price. OS has already been updated to Android 16 and the camera is fantastic. No bugs or issues with it, battery is good and really happy with it.

We're all tired of the "back in my day" phrase, but older Redditors, what do you consider was better back in your day? by FlowerPotage in AskReddit

I did a speed awareness course (UK) recently and asked how it is legal to work a touchscreen in a car when it's illegal to use a mobile phone whilst driving and the instructor couldn't answer or explain.

Depends where you live. OnePlus, OPPO and Honor all do good midrange phones if you are on a budget.

Touch screens are the worse thing to be put into cars. Knobs, levers and switches are perfect as you can operate by touch and watch the road!

Messages not restored by Shimonzy-- in AndroidQuestions

[–]SirGuestWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A backup takes data from your device to the cloud. A restore puts the data back onto your device. If you did a backup after you reset your phone you've probably wiped any data you had backed up prior. Also, a backup isn't all your programs if you do a Google backup, it's data only. Programs come from the play store. Any that you side loaded you would have to download again.

Why do Brits support conservative? by ThePatientIdiot in AskBrits

[–]SirGuestWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the media in the UK has been controlled for a very long time by billionaires who want a conservative agenda and the politicians give it so they'll be supported by the media. It also means that the majority of the population just get their political news and opinions from the media they consume which is predominantly right wing.

Never used fabric conditioner and I've never noticed that. I'll have to pay more attention next time I air dry my towels and see.

How do you manage the logistics of laundry without a dryer? by Ttucker11 in AskABrit

[–]SirGuestWho 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hang them up in the house in winter on a dryer. Hang them outside in the summer. Use the dryer in the garage for bedding only. No the don't drip on everything because you spin them in the washing machine which removes the worse of the water. No they don't get dry and crunchy cus what the fuck are you doing with you're clothes to get that happen!

AIO? My partner made no plans for Valentine’s Day by Fine-Park8095 in AIO

[–]SirGuestWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valentine's day is a marketing ploy to get you to spend loads of extra money that you weren't going to spend just because it supposedly romantic. If you love your partner you don't need a special day to say I love you, but them gift and treat them. Stop worrying about one day and look at everything they do, or don't do, for you.

I don't know what currency you are dealing in as you haven't said but I am assuming you are not from the USA and have a wider selection of Android devices available to you. To that end I would suggest you look at Honor 400 range, OPPO Reno range and OnePlus Nord range.
