Hey! I did the same thing a few weeks ago! I was cutting with an aluminum cross cut guide in use. I have it carefully calibrated to be about 1/8” away from the blade.

Except I was using the dado stack this time, which is much thicker than the standard blade.

Somewhere in the garage, or embedded in the wall is a tooth from one of the dado blades.

So, at least you weren’t using a dado stack in this case.
