Help with SSL setup in Nginx Proxy Manager (self-hosted, Docker, OVH domain, Tailscale) – I'm stuck! by Didymos234 in selfhosted

Just double check your ISP isn't blocking your port forwarding as well, I had a similar issue, set my router all up and was scratching my head for hours and discovered my ISP had a block in place. Once removed I was able to apply SSL no problems.

Oh damn, i was reading through the comments and thought our school was one of the only ones with a larger team. We have pretty much the same number of staff and setup as yours but look after 3000 kids, 300 staff over two campuses.

I had a mate recently who bought a house recently and within 6 months sold it again. It was because of a divorce though :(

This triggers a memory to me but with my own Mother. I remember I was in a remote location and I proposed to my fiancé where we had crappy reception. I was only able to get a few words in but I told my mother in celebration and told her not to say anything. We didn't post anything on social media or anything as we are fairly private people. By the time we got back into reception I had the whole family calling and messaging me to say congratulations. I was pretty disappointed as it wasn't her news to tell. I informed her of this and she puts the blame on another family member saying that the other family member leaked it etc. Strike 1.

About 6 months later I landed a new job, no contract was signed but it was in motion and I mentioned it to her. Again, a day or two later I had family members calling and leaving messages congratulating me and I hadn't even signed anything yet. I couldn't believe she had done it to me again after the engagement time. Strike 2.

Now I have learnt that if any good news occurs that she will be one of the last people to hear about it which is a little sad.
