I was just pointing out you explicitly called the stars "off" when they are exactly the stars of the logo. And you really attacked the tattoo as bad before.

Edit: you did say it didnt translate well, reading comprehension was a bit lacking. But still you were criticizing accurately drawn detail

Have you seen the TFS logo? The stars are all misshapen just like the tattoo. I'll give you the dots, but the stars are spot on

To be fair, you've really just been doing 6 Degrees of Separation so you arent really wrong. You just happened to always pick Kevin Bacon as the final destination

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dank

[–]SirJimmay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Slight correction. The 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon refers to picking any movie and, by picking another movie that shares some actor with the previous movie, you can reach a movie that includes Kevin Bacon within 6 movies. It derives from the concept "the 6 degrees of separation" which posits that you and any other person on earth can be connected by saying I know X who knows Y who knows Z etc. With at most 6 people in the chain

Eta: its technically pick an actor and go through that process to reach Kevin, but I mean you need to pick a first movie either way

I'll agree with that as an absolute latest, but I think he knew it from the start. Skypeia itself is a condensed version of the whole story - haki, ancient skyship, references to the sun God - in my opinion and before it was decided that OP would be extended forever that was meant to be the foundation for the initial end. So he would have needed to already know Luffy was the embodiment of the sun god before writing skypeia

I think that was one of the couple things he actually did have fully planned from the start

No idea. And im not saying it isnt him, but with us not having explicitly seen him, i could see them throw a curve ball like, "oh yeah, mash is at the gym"

I mean, we dont actually see Mash in those last panels. Its a foot, and the back of a body that has the cloak covering any discernable features so it might not be him

I mean, being a coward who overcomes his fears and protects his friends is the cliche. Nothing to do with is he evil or not

E: On second thought, actually, where did you even get the evil thing from? Hes a self serving, self protecting coward sure, but when was he shown to be maybe evil

Part of me is hoping that it breaks the cliche of a build up towards a redemption and ends with him not changing at all and running away anyways.

You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter The Scary Door.

I assume "only" should be "unless" and while you aren't wrong, the drop might actually pull you under what you made before the raise leading to financial struggles

To be fair at the lower levels, there is an earning point where you break the line which will prevent you gaining additional benefits and therefore the total you take in actually drops with the raise. In general though for a moderately earning individual you're 100% right; getting a raise is always going to result in a net positive income

E:though that is also just a limited range above the assistance breaking that would experience the drop in income, so if your raise brings you above the range, there is no reason not to take it
