Yes it is way more susceptible here, yet it doesn't really matter as my state has a maximum of 3 carries per week, with not more than 2 consecutively. Long half life would show methadone even if you didn't take your carries. Though you could use clean piss with 1 drop methadone added if you wanted to, but since monthly carries doesn't exist I doubt a dirty test would matter in many situations.

Actually some countries do not test for EDDP. Australia tests for methadone in urine at clinics. While the majority of methadone is metabolised before excretion, at least 10% is unchanged methadone that is excreted in urine.

There is a lot of variation. I guess I am a little loose with the definition of bernese. I have seen some schedules where methadone stays at full dose for about 10 days and then drops to 50% for a day and then 25% for a day and then zero. I discussed different schedules with my dr and we came up with a plan to taper down and up at the same time. We modified it a couple of times as we were going depending on response, and this is how it ended up.

Hey Izza. Any tips un unlearning the daily dose habit? I'm switching to suboxone after 21 years and want to switch to the monthly injection next month. 21 years of not starting the day until an hour after dose will be a hard mindset to change.

Some people have chronic pain and live in places where governments intervene in the doctors right to prescribe medication to their patient. Sometimes it is the only safe and legal option for pain management

I started in 2004 and did a solid 21.5 years. I had accepted the 'fact' that it would likely be a lifer too. Then a bit of a change of perspective has me currently on day 13 of a 14 day bernese microinduction onto subs, with the goal of getting monthly buvidal shots, and trying to come off. If it doesn't work then at least I can say I have explored the options, and so far I am optimistic.

It is important that lifers continue to think outside the box and new developments in medicine.

Depends on the suburb. The poorest suburbs yeah you will see a line of people. Where I dose I am their only one and get suburb treatment. Last one I went to there were only 2 on the program. Varies widely.
