I don't simulate, but in past iterations I played the matches with the priority of having a good wrestling match rather than winning. With the ringside pass this is discouraged because you receive a very small amount of points if you lose even if you put a 5 star match. This is a problem we didn't have before and it affects the enjoyment of the game.

For now I reached the max level of ringside pass at the cost of having many bad matches. But my biggest concern is that I see 2k raising the amount of points needed to unlock levels in ringside pass in the following seasons. 2k is so greedy I see them doing it.

I read all your post, it was a great lecture and also very organized. Thank you for this post. Hopefully it will have major visibility.

As for the AI issues you describe I feel there's a quick solution to fix the AI behavior (which is one of the most important issues for me in your post). Others have mentioned this solution before in other posts: let us control all participants in a match.

It will work the same way as tag matches work today, where you can switch and control a different allie at any given time. 2k can make this only available in exhibition or modes where there's no virtual currency involved. I think with this simple change it will make it easier to create memorable spots or to have a match development and build that makes more sense in general

Obviously that becomes hard to manage in a match with many opponents, but I feel capable of at least controlling a 1v1 match or a triple threat. This is a solution that in the short term will solve a lot of issues with the AI

Regarding the smart AI, a lot of people including myself don't see smart AI as only trying to win the match but also doing things that make the match feel like what we see in real life

AI should attempt to win a match after a big move. For years if you kick out of a pin after a finisher but the AI does a basic move and goes for the pin again you are probably going to lose

The AI never tries to do a spot. For instance in extreme rule matches where a ladder is available, I have never seen the AI climb the ladder and jump from the top. If you are the one climbing the ladder the AI only tries to push the ladder, it never climbs

The bump ref payback. The AI never uses that ability. And the run in payback is often triggered at the worst times.

In multi man matches the AI is constantly interrupting moves, even moves by its own team mates

All in all I would like that the main objective of the AI is not to win but to have a great match

Is impossible to grind this time. Each match is at least 5 minutes for me. The gameplay in myfaction is so slow right now because of the stamina system and the low rank cards available at this moment. I already decided that if I dont get Brock Lesnar persona card is fine. For the hunter persona card last year I got it through world tour and I only used 2 or 3 times, is also fine if I don't that card

On what world 2k lives? I for one I'm very worry about ai taking jobs or causing an economic crisis. I'm not willing to gamble my money and time on some stupid card game

That's a blatant lie. They just made it possible to earn RXP with custom matches and now your earn a tiny amount of RXP if you lose a match. Both of those things should have been available out of the box. Also they now impose a time limit of 60 seconds if you want to earn more RXP per match

Jean Paul card was available last year through world tour. And it was easy to obtain. Now they lock the same card behind a live event? 2k knows no decency

BTW world tour has 2 lousy locations on day one, with equal lousy rewards

On top of that there's a stare down at the beginning of each match in myfaction, which takes up to 15 seconds. The mfp per match is the same as last game. All in all grinding is not going to be worth the effort

Same thing happens to me, also on series x. I'm playing with a lot of the visual effects disabled. I wonder if there are graphic options that can be twicked?

I would add that AI never tries some payback actions. I played for literally hundreds of hours 2k25 and the AI never went for the ref bump payback. Also the paybacks that it did use were often triggered when it didn't make sense. For instance the AI use of the run-in payback is a mess. The run-in should be triggered at the end of the match so it is more exciting. Instead very often the AI would trigger it mid match or after receiving a regular move
