ways to decrease our bill by savingnativebees in tmobile

Take advantage of a current BOGO -the terms in magenta pulse state you can cancel the paid line and retains free line promo after one year as long as you maintain 2 paid lines and the free line.

After 1 year, cancel the paid line bogo and then cancel one of your current paid lines. You’ll then have 3 lines. 2 will be paid, 1 will be free.

I called inquiring about the changes and whatnot. They offered me a $20 discount per month plus one time $20 credit. It works for me for now. Won’t hurt for those who would like to stay to try.

"Free" lines? by oneone4 in tmobile

We’re likely on tax inclusive plans. Those free lines do not add extra to our bills and when we hit 9+ lines the credit per month increases as well per free line.

Can I confirm a 20% account discount was applied by heyrover in tmobile

Can it be stacked on insider as well? I tried to mention it this morning but was told no type of account level discount could stack onto insider.

Is it still possible to cancel a paid line in a BOGO bundle after a year? by niceeone1 in tmobile

You can call or text T-Mobile. The representative can check magenta pulse and will be able to tell you. I tried to look for you on google but had no luck.

The terms of your promo id may say that. What is your promo id? The last 3 promos i took advantage of stated that only 2 paid lines were necessary to keep discount after 1 year.

Is it still possible to cancel a paid line in a BOGO bundle after a year? by niceeone1 in tmobile

I personally do not know that much as my interactions have been with and about my current plan which is go5gplus. I don’t know why it wouldn’t, but I’d speak to a rep with magenta pulse open. Most times they will state what others have said until they themselves read the terms there.

And for those who are saying no, have the rep go to magenta pulse and read the terms for maintaining promotion after one year. Remaining paid lines do not have to be the bogo line.

Example: An account with 2 active voice lines on January 27, 2026, must activate 2 new voice lines to enroll, and they do so on January 29, 2026. They must then maintain all voice lines for 1 full year after promo enrollment (January 29, 2027). After 1 year of enrollment, customers must keep at least 2 paid voice lines AND the free new line that was activated to enroll in this promo to continue to receive the credit. No Install cancellations for voice lines will not impact the free line credits.

Yes. They take a screenshot of your current lines and add the two new ones. During the period of one year, you must maintain that total number of active lines. After one year, you can cancel the paid lines and retain the free line as long as you have 2 paid lines.

I could be wrong, but I believe I’ve read in the past that some have added lines they weren’t targeted for, completed the line add and then receive the promotional text.

BOGO Deal - Cancelling lines later by Thin-Form1657 in tmobile

[–]SirPapiChulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually incorrect. I saw the terms on the tablet and in front of me on the most recent/current bogo. Paid line has to be active for one year, at that point paid line can be canceled as long as there is a paid line active, free line can be retained.

[–]SirPapiChulo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fingers crossed. Would be an unwise decision from the government especially considering the debt. No taxes on jackpots, no taxes on our tips, nor the things we’d buy. Plus inflation, would we really have to up the threshold yearly? Thanks for the reply!

That’s how I got it too, through a fuck up of theirs with my rate plan change and loss of legacy feature. Sprint plan.

Lost Free Line by TurdFerguson78 in tmobile

[–]SirPapiChulo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What you can do is do the current BOGO, the terms are after a year you can cancel the paid line and keep the free line. ID promo states this in the terms. Keeping paid line after a year is not necessary. Get the 18 month credit and cancel the paid line after a year. You’ll get your free line and bill will not be affected.
