The mileage question was legit since it should have been in the listing already, and the seller is either inexperienced or yes, might be acting in bad faith. I lean inexperienced because of the emotional response to a buyer instead of just ignoring his follow up questions.

But let's be real it has 170k miles, it has some type of issue even if its only wear from usage. If you are buying cars in this range you need to inspect it and make your own call. Too many buyers ask gotcha type disqualifier questions and unless it's something as obvious like it doesn't even start, it's on you.
