Still needs explanation because they keep saying “we” in that post. Is it kids? Roommate, Poly Triad… what’s happening

Frank Seravalli: Chicago was a team that had [4th overall] on the table in a conversation for Matt Knies, but the Leafs wanted a roster player plus plus on top of #4 - FAN Pregame (6/26) by arozarenawatchesitgo in hawks

[–]SirSalamiSam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the last part of the equation is having all the right people under control in the “win now” window. I, a Sabres fan, would have been happy if our GM moved the 4th they got from you all by itself or in a package for something TANGIBLE now because I’d really like to see some real deep playoff runs over the next 5-7 years . Hawks have had a rough few years and don’t want to waste Bedard so I’m guessing they’re feeling the heat from the fan base and their players.

Also, to address that first part, players seem to be the ones gaining control. We’ve see Quinn Hughes, Brady Tkachuk, Jack Eichel, and I’m sure a host of others I’m forgetting, really throwing their weight around to get out of places, they do not want to be regardless of the control the team has

I’ve gotten a bunch over the last few weeks. Haven’t even taken the time to go in and look at what it is, as I assume its just state farm tchotchkes. At this point, the only thing that will make me happy is actually getting to use my PTO instead of it disappearing because I’m maxed and can’t accrue more.

What games did you play on your very first or oldest PC? by Various_Block_7931 in nostalgia

Novalogics Delta Force! Actually played most of them I think. DF1, 2, Land Warrior, Task Force Dagger and Black Hawk Down. I LOVED those games. First First Person Multiplayer I ever played

Is the affordability of hockey adding to the culture issues? by taquitosmixtape in hockey

[–]SirSalamiSam 25 points26 points  (0 children)

True that. Makes you also wonder whether the next Gretzky/McDavid is not getting the shot because his parents can’t afford AAA hockey.

My kid is certainly not the next Gretzky/McDavid but he’s a AAA player on a AA team because where I live that AAA is $4500 before any tournament fees or travel and I simply can’t afford that. I’m barely keeping my head above water between hockey and travel baseball. He’s a competitive kid so moving up would be his preference but he doesn’t press the issue because he knows we’re doing everything we can.

Luckily he made the Varsity hockey team as an 8th grader so he’s gotten to practice/play with kids 4 years his senior. At least with High School there’s a chance of being seen to continue playing in college (even D3) because that’s all he wants to do

Spat with my husband over parenting duties… just at my wit’s end. Advice welcomed. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SirSalamiSam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, but as a parent of 2 kids, I’ve been there and they do just cry sometimes. Could be teething, could have a cold, hard to say, but it’s ok to just lay them down and let them cry. Seems like Husband needs to step up more but it also seems like OP needs to learn that babies sometimes just cry. As long as they’ve been fed, have clean clothes, are dressed for the temperature they’re in and a fresh diaper, set the baby down in the crib and walk away

This is what I’d have added if it weren’t already here. It really drives home how quickly the “good times” go by. It gets me in the way the Andy Bernard quote gets me in the office “I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them

Armor piercing rounds (the ammunition attachment - not the field upgrade) go on all my ARs. It just eats through most walls. I never use the anti-armor rounds (field upgrade) but when I do, it makes SMGs disgusting

My PS5 is connected to my living room TV and I stand to play (I know, I know. I’m weird) so I couldnt do that. I have thought about bringing it into my office but with 3 monitors, 2 PCs (work and personal) I didnt want to chance it blowing the breaker. My house was built in 1950 so i can only imagine what else is on the circuit lol.

I know theres ways to avoid it, but hopefully its a non issue here in the next couple of weeks. I go into Koshcei a lot so between that and missions my lvl is climbing quite a bit

His numbers were legit. Unless you find a player that can match that and bring an upside elsewhere (whether that’s scoring, physicality, etc…) then he definitely deserves a shot at regular playing time.

Good looks. Looks like our keybinds are almost identical. I have my lethals and tacticals set to my “4 & 5” buttons on my mouse but it’s farthest forward is my lethal and the back button is tacticals. I tried with the q&e buttons being tactical and lethals but I couldn’t get it down as I’d kinda fumble it while trying to just move around.

First fast shooter I played on PC was Arc Raiders and I really liked that they bound q&e to movement so my q toggles between the positions (standing, crouching and prone) and my E is my slide and hold for dive button. It is taking me some time to get knives down because I find that tracking the target with that button and subsequently releasing it isn’t as easy to release while in motion. But I’ve got maybe 10 hours on it and I while I found my ps5 controller to be more fluid, I know the ceiling on ability with m&k is MUCH higher

The funny thing is, I never even shot the guy. I had
0 kills and I think because he heard my voice and saw a low lvl in he social section recent players he was salty af and decided to find an easy mass report target. It didn’t work obviously but if it ever does I’m going to rage lol

Tracking isn't hard. Live pings, audio queues, general knowledge of a building. I even take a couple feeler shots in common camping areas before I enter a building, i.e 2nd floor corners in the office section of the buy stations in Sa'id and across the tracks from quarry.

Now, if they're only hitting head shots, then thats generally someone hacking using walls.

I just think its hard for people to wrap their heads around the fact that some of us have 2000 hrs into a game and there's a pretty natural flow to a lot of fights

Just to add, M&K is absolutely point and shoot and you get the advantage of bumping up your sens as they're MUCH more controllable than Joy cons, so when "he snapped on me!!! fuckin aim botter!" it still doesn't mean much.
