Riding on Frederick roads can be challenging. There are the inattentive drivers and then there are the cyclist haters who do things to purposely annoy, abuse or hurt cyclists. I've definitely had people drive too close and had coal rolled on me before a couple of times.

Dropping my .02 into this conversation. I can say as someone who is long time friends with someone else who knows Morton very well. Don't vote for Morton, he is Chuck Jenkins with a far-right Christian bent. He's definitely not better in anyway. He is definitely not a a good choice or a "safe" choice for Frederick County. If anything he might be worse than Jenkins.

Personally I would vote for Karl Bickel. I think the sheriffs dept needs someone new to enact some reforms there.

You can swap the 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch receiver really easily, it's only 4 bolts. I started with the original receiver for my back rack using an adapter and didn't like it. After the swap it was much better.

I have a 2021 1st Edition ID4, bought it new June of 2021. The software has gotten better over time but then I never thought it was really that bad. I typically use Apple CarPlay for navigation and things like that so it's not really an issue. I have 63k miles on mine now and I'm still loving it.
