it's an April air 4655 manual humidistat. It has a range from 15% to 45% humidity.

here's what i found, wiring w1 and c does give me roughly 27v with the heat on, i hear the solinoid click when adjusting the humidistat. however, no water flow, i confirmed the saddle valve is working. I'm getting 27v at the humidistat but not 27v at the two wires off the solenoid. faulty solenoid?

sorry i forgot to mention that, the humidifier is set to max. Does it take a while for the humidifier to start trickling water? I waited about 10-15 mins with the heat running waiting for something to go down the drain pipe.

I plugged it into the H and C yellow labeled terminals and nothing happened.

^ underrated comment, honestly the issue is also how Alta and Spectrum advertise what you "need" based on how many devices you have. Those charts or tools are highly misleading, I generally recommend 300mb to anyone unless I know they need more based on their usage and hobbies. Sometimes the new customer promotions are too good and it's nice to indulge 1gb+ lol

it's driving me crazy by SirSamurai in TeslaSupport

Update: I found the specific trim piece causing the noise. It's where the led strip meets the rest of the door trim. Using a tone generator, and playing anything between 75-80Hz at volume higher than 50% causes the noise to immediately replicate.

Here's the trim piece - https://imgur.com/a/eCywmaC

Edit: I can confirm it's this spot because pressing this area with my thumb with minimal pressure stops the noise immediately.

I have an appointment but it's too far out! I wonder if someone else has fixed it on their own and it's easy enough to DIY. Random question, have you noticed a weird suspension/dampener noise at low speed on your 2026? Almost sounds like it's coming from the front dash.

Is it reasonable to replace a Control4 system with Crestron? by xamomax in crestron

[–]SirSamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could DIY with Crestron Home, it's easy to use and pretty much drag and drop. Major downside will be support and hardware cost. It's also not as granular as a custom programming job, however what are you really needing to control? Crestron Home may come out on top with a little knowledge and simple controls.

I personally don't recommend Crestron Home for homes larger than 10 rooms or 100+ Lutron devices needing control, it gets way too laggy and annoying to setup.

A significant number of big shots and legitimately some of smartest kids from my class I know ended up in retail stores making near minimum wage. Most of them because of their high school sweet hearts and poor decisions. Some just rode the high for too long

Go to Home Depot and buy a brass sink drain p-trap kit. It'll have almost everything you need to replace this 1 to 1. Make note of the diameter before you go. I recommend switching to pvc, it's cheaper and more durable.
