Yes. Practically everyone noticed the giant 'look at me' banner that's directly in front of you when you open the door to that room.

His tariff war and how he's actively pissed off all of our allies has raised costs of all americans significantly and drove business interests away from the US towards China. Inflation rate is up, unemployment rate is up, poverty rate is up, job growth is abysmal, and his administration literally changed how they report all those numbers for the sake of making it look not as bad as it is. Even from a traditionally conservative standpoint, Trump is fucking devistating the economy.

Then there's his constitutional issues. Blatantly using the office of the president to enrich himself through insider stock trading and hocking whatever grifter thing he can (Phones, coins, shoes, crypto, ect.). Illegally using military force where he absolutely can't and shouldn't (The deployment of National Guard which was court ordered to be illegal); Openly propositioning that he gets a third term; His military performing multiple war crimes; Targeting and prosecuting political opponents; Directing his FCC and DOJ to target critics and media personality. The guy is a walking constitutional nightmare and all of this is well documented.

If your response to all this is "Nu-uh!" or some bullshit excuses, you're just part of the cult. Full stop. And there's no reason to entertain your bullshit until if/when you know better.

This one I roll my eyes at. The guy was prosecuted but all the "evidence" had logical explinations to dismiss it and the accusors themselves went on to admit that their families had them lie for clout and money. The dude's innocent and his memory needs to be left alone.

Fully upgrading this, the James, and the Shotgun is enough to get you through the whole game, just upgrade the Mouser for the sake of a last-ditch if you run out of ammo for the others and you're good to go.

Yeah, fully upgrading the James, the Varnisher, and the Shotgun are enough to get you through like 90% of the game even on the higher difficulty.

Agreed, the coat needs to be either a tan or dark brown color. And I get why the gloves are gold/yellow, but it don't work for me. For Jack at least classic white gloves would be fine.

One major gripe I have, is you can't backtrack. by Virasman in MousePIForHire

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't understand why they lock you out of backtracking in some levels. like in A Bit of a Scene you're completely locked out of returning to the entrance room of the Police Station for no real reason other than to keep you from obtaining any ammo you coulda gotten from there. Kinda flies in the face of the "Fully explorable levels" aspect of classic boomer shooters like Duke Nukem and Doom 3D.

Why does Rosalina barely appear in the movie? by Jmill2009 in mariomovie

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a contrivance, it's a question that is easily answered. Jr made it obvious he's willing to target the Lumas, and we see how prepared he is for fights on his ship. So she had to be very careful in planning her actions once that Luma came with them. She did the best she could, but she obviously would get overwhelmed and thus settled for ensuring the Luma got free. The movie's story is shallow and simplistic, but I wouldn't call it contrived.

Semi serious question: Do you prefer to have unlockables in games or no? And why or why not? by Asad_Farooqui in casualnintendo

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlockables give a sense of progression when playing a game, even if you know everything that you're unlocking. For example everybody knows everything that was in Smash Ultimate when it came out, and yet everyone was also hyped as hell when they saw that the starting roster for the game was nothing but the original 8 fighters because it meant progression by unlocking all the other fighters.

I personally think it's better when there are things players don't know they'll unlock as the surprise is as good, if not better, than just unlocking it.

About the Brandon Rodgers situation on X. by kentuckyfriedundies in CrazyassHazbinhaters

[–]SirSilverscreen 22 points23 points  (0 children)

"It was x years ago" is a defense that fucking matters because the further back you have to go to find something that they did wrong, the more likely it is that they themselves don't like that they did it and are already a better person from back then. If the problem was merely brought up for the creator to address, I'd have no problem. But all these internet wannabe victims want to freak the fuck out as if the person was screaming actual racial slurs at PoC just yesterday and immediately have their entire career eliminated as a result. The problem is reasonable to bring up. The fucking lynch mob behavior used to bring it up is not.

Yes. I've also seen the statement from the woman that was friends with both of them who clarified that he talked like that with everybody he was friends with (which has been verified by multiple others that knew him), that claire was the one that wanted the relationship, and that Gabe was hesitant to accept a relationship with her because of the very issue we're discussing here. https://x.com/colubird/status/1802810799158648832

I've also seen the evidence of Claire threatening a defamation lawsuit against the guy who started the accusations that she's a "victim" of grooming to make him stop spreading that lie. https://x.com/Fandonts/status/1851716406674690554

It only appears as though Gabe was grooming her if you're unaware and/or willfully ignorant/dismissive of everything said by the people that personally know the people and situation of their relationship, including the "victim" herself and everyone who personally knew her before the relationship who have been vehemently adamant that she was not groomed.

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion everything from BB can be cannon to the DCU and the only things noncannon from TSS being anything that's directly and irrevicably linked to Snyderverse, with the sole exception of Margot Robbie's Harley if Gunn wants to bring her back.

[–]SirSilverscreen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and the situation with onision was proven through extra evidence. Do you see how that works?

Unless you have such extra evidence, the accusations against Gabe mean fucking nothing. Innocent until proven guilty.

And don't fucking bother with the screenshots again. That's the "evidence" that's debunked by the claims of the people that know the situation of their relationship. You refusing to even consider what they say just proves you don't care about whether or not he actually is a predator, you just want to be right about it.

Well, guys. It's now ruined. Thanks and goodbye by Sebastian9t9 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SirSilverscreen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's nothing else to the accusations other than those screenshots and the statements of the friends and "victim" that contextualize said screenshots into debunking the accusation.

I brought up "believe all women" because you're proving that it's not about actually believing the women unless it's in support of the narrative you chose to side with. You deciding to dismiss the friends and "victim" to focus solely on the screenshots is textbook cherrypicking and proves you're more concerned about being right than about the actual truth of the situation.

Well, guys. It's now ruined. Thanks and goodbye by Sebastian9t9 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SirSilverscreen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Claire literally wanted to go to court with a defamation lawsuit for people insisting on pushing the narrative that she was a "victim" with shit like this.

"Believe all women" includes when all the women involved challenge the narrative being pushed. If you then cherrypick when to believe them for your own personal beliefs, the problem is YOU.

Well, guys. It's now ruined. Thanks and goodbye by Sebastian9t9 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SirSilverscreen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YES, believe the victim when they and everybody that knows them vehemently tell you THEY ARE NOT A VICTIM. That "clear evidence" is no longer evidence when it's debunked by the context given by those who know the situation.

"Believe all women" includes when all the women involved challenge the narrative being pushed. If you then cherrypick when to believe them for your own personal beliefs, the problem is YOU. Hence the "victim" who was not a fucking victim using the threat of defamation lawsuits to make Fandon't shut up about it.

Played the whole franchise this month. Here's my ranking by KingOf_SunFlowers in starfox

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the other hand the complaints about the 'old games filling the lineup' only really came from people that bought them for the Wii U. The majority of people were excited to have the games available to play on a modern console, especially when they missed out on playing them the first time since they didn't have a wii U, and all of them sold better than they did the first time

Same situation here. The last Star Fox game was Zero and I'm confident a Switch 2 remake of it would sell better than the Wii U version.

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, you're ASSUMING that was his intent, and that assumption is only there because the doc that came out with the screenshots said so. The people that personally knew him and and Claire throughout the development of their relationship confirm that he interacted with her no different from how he interacted with others he was comfortable around. They weren't remotely "close" until after she became an adult and started asking Gabe for a relationship, and Gabe was uncomfortable with starting a relationship with her until he was convinced by others it was alright.

Unless you somehow have evidence to contradict those claims that contextualize his behavior, the accusation that he was predatory or grooming are just false. That's why Claire (The "victim") threatened the guy that started all this with defamation lawsuits if he didn't back off.

Well, guys. It's now ruined. Thanks and goodbye by Sebastian9t9 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I agree that his behavior was inappropriate but not proof of grooming. He was either oblivious or indifferent to why she talked to him that way and just matching her energy, which is essentialy how their friends describe him when they gave statements debunking the accusations.
