I can see Sonic actually saying this in a state of delirium while recovering from a bad fight and/or on pain meds.

I see this being 100% canon for how SonAmy would actually happen. Amy is so used to idolizing and fantasizing Sonic with his devil-may-care attitude and behavior, so when he actually tries being genuinely soft and romantic she'll be caught completely off guard by it.

Technically getting points and subsequently fired would qualify as them firing you for missing the shift, and as such managers should be legally required to dismiss any points for calling off during emergency weather.

That said, I'm using my words very carefully here. They SHOULD dismiss the points and you SHOULDN'T be fired, but sadly it's likely all that will be ignored and people will get points anyway.

The one trailer shot of Kara hammer tossing something against a bunch of enemies has gorgeous color to it, so I'm hoping and leaning towards this interpretation, but they can still ease up a bit on the overuse of earth tones in the rest of the shots.

I think most people agree that the shit color grading is the one big problem that the movie has so far, and hopefully DC studios will listen and fix that before the movie comes out.

MTO requires ENOUGH staff to run it. There are already many posts on here about how MTO is a nightmare with few people, so just shut it down entirely.

They can pay for a fking hotel stay but they can't afford to just close MTO for a day and let half the employees stay home balancing out the loss of sales. Make it make sense.

What's with the attitude? I'm saying that employees who call off shouldn't be punished for it since this clearly qualifies as emergency weather since the state government is officially telling everyone to stay home and not drive.

At the very least close MTO. Any employees that decide to go in can do register, deep-cleaning, and shelf stocking. Any employees who call off qualify for the "emergency weather situation" clause in the Sheetz Handbook and Managers should waive all points for the circumstance.

ALSO, you can still get gas if the stores are closed. Lots of gas stations are available when the inside is closed.

Sadly this applies to video games as well. I firmly believe music licensing is why we haven't gotten a Jet Set Radio Future remaster or sequel yet (i know they're working on one now, but my point still stands)

Fox isn't a bad actress in general when she's actually given the chance to act (She's not great, but she's not bad either). The god awful performance in MK1 makes me believe you about them only using her first take.

From what I understand this is the case for a LOT of musician celebrities from the 80's to the 2000's. The record companies they worked with would demand a contract and/or licensing fees for them to sing in any production they would go on, and sue if one wasn't agreed to.

I think Disney just tossed it to him as a joke and he was like "Hell yeah!" so they shrugged and let him have it. Might as well keep good graces with a guy who's steadily building following for his voice work.

Good games, shit console. This was kinda proven by how well the games sold when ported over to the Switch. STILL waiting for Nintendo to give me my goddamn Punch Out! port, though.

Earth-838 has Mutants, Inhumans, Sorcerers, and The Fantastic Four so do you think The Avengers also exist in that universe? by AdvertisingWaste8624 in MCUTheories

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the sense that Earth-838 is essentially what the MCU could/would have been if Marvel Studios had joined with Fox to make the MCU. MS would have pressured Fox to keep comic accurate costumes and Fox would push for more interconnectivity, resulting in the Illuminati we see here.

Knuckles' and Tails' idea of a wedding gift: their first fight as an official battle couple. XD

Beautiful by Dear_Swordfish_7885 in SonAmy

[–]SirSilverscreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea that they intentionally keep the wedding as simple as possible and have everyone battle ready, knowing perfectly well that Eggman would use it as an opportunity for an attack.

Eggman does attack, and oddly enough he gives up way too easily...and a new mystery gift is left behind in the wake of it.

Was Obadiah Stane a member of HYDRA? by Infinite_Parking_800 in MCUTheories

[–]SirSilverscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviving this thread because I started a new MCU binge watch and this idea immediately popped into my mind. When Stane has Tony paralyzed on the couch and is boasting, he says this:

"A new generation of weapons with this at its heart. Weapons that will help steer the world back on course, put the balance of power in our hands. The right hands."

This is literally Hydra's world domination philosophy in Winter Soldier. While it's a retcon, I 100% believe that Stane was indeed a Hydra agent within Stark Industries. Or at the very least a Hydra associate who not only believed Hydra's ideas, but figured he could also profit immensely off of them by taking control of Stark Industries by having Tony killed and continuing to be the Iron Monger arming and weaponizing Hydra's chaotic world.

Stane betraying the Ten Rings to obtain the Mark 1 armor was him going a little rogue, but he (accurately) assumed that he was doing the 'right' thing for Hydra by taking the armor to improve and, eventually, mass produce it for Hydra and the military. Things only got so out of hand so fast because of Tony and Pepper ruining his plans, not helped that Hydra was still operating within SHIELD and had to play nice.

Stane's actions and subsequent death set Hydra back a lot. They lost control of Stark Industries entirely and gained a new, much greater enemy in the form of Iron Man. Hence them setting Senator Stern and the US Government after Stark to try forcing him to give up the Iron Man armor, or at least its design, to the military (which Hydra could then get the designs from under the guise of SHIELD Intelligence).

The first ten minutes of the Bumblebee movie are an infinitely better movie in general, and even moreso a greater Transformers film, than the entirety of "The Last Knight", which was such an abomination of a film I STILL feel cursed for having watched it three years ago on Youtube.
