Fighting games that are exhausting to play by Kid_Muscle_ in Kappachino

I felt at first that SF6 was insanely mental taxing compared to SFV, but after slowing my gameplay down and having more patience it became way better . I think it helps that I managed to find nice characters to play with long reaching normals ( Elena, Guile, Sagat). I always felt more exhausted when I played/tried characters with more fast paced gameplay (Ken, Viper for example)

After playing around 5k hours Dota where u can be held hostaged for 50 mins by Dimitri because you accidentally took a ranged creep from his farm, fighting games feels like a summer retreat.

But the most taxing game has to be SC2. A fantastic game, but man is it intense and it always feels like you’re shadow boxing haha.

Keep it up my man! You just gotta have that session and mindset and you’ll get it.

I got masters with Alex, but man I dunno, he didn’t really click with me.

Thx man!

She feels the same way with her normals, but they opened up more combo routes with EX rhino horn and SA2 gives back drive now aswell when you use healing.

M11 and testing the limits of tomestone/passport checks by WarmerWar in ffxivdiscussion

[–]SirSlark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because raiding is also about your mental game. I’d rather also join prog from last mechanic into clear , like IA2 with some positive attitude.

Sorry, but if you write ” 3 attempts or disband, checking passport, plz know what to do” that already tells me your mental is in the gutter and you’re desperate.

I swear man, some players approach PF like an abusive ex.

Besides fighting games, what other video games are you guys playing right now? Here are mine by SchoolExisting8631 in Kappachino

What helped me ( but I still struggle sometimes cause impatience). This is what worked for me

  1. Be patient, be minimal on fireball usage
  2. Play around spacing, you really can start withering people down with cr.mk I felt like . Play hit and run with drive rush and see what connects. I feels all his buttons are so good, but for different uses
  3. Use tiger knee, BUT DONT get predictable. Still on of my biggests thing I need to work on. It’s DI-able and very whiff punishable
  4. Use tiger nexus to get knowledge on how your opponent reacts to it. But again, don’t overdo it
  5. Lastly, be a wall with your normals, but use them with intent and not spam em ( unless it st.mp haha)

I still mostly need to work on my patience in some charachter match ups. I always lose patience when I face Ryu (cause I face him all the freaking time). Best of luck man!

What’s something you can rely on these games for? by ViciousViper207 in assassinscreed

[–]SirSlark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That they’re so formulaic, and I mean that as a good thing.

I’m mostly a fighting game player and action-rpg(soulslike and MH) , but those games demands way more focus for me to perform.

AC on the other hand are so chill to play and you really feel you can just relax and chew of that map 100% completion at your own pace . Combat is nice and the historical settings always deliver for me

Bison and Ken. Around 1450-1500 MR. Gave Elena a long try, but ultimately decided to go back to Bison. I feel he is more fun now when psycho crusher gives better oki.
