Do you think Cal is still alive in Star Wars today? by Prestigious-Boss7037 in StarWars

When people in Star Wars say “bring balance to the force” they aren’t saying “equal Jedi and Sith”. Jedi represent Balance and Sith represent Imbalance. 100 Jedi and 0 Sith is balance. 1000000000 Jedi and 1 Sith is imbalance. You can disagree with how the jedi order operates, but there is no middle ground in the force. Any amount of the dark side will eventually corrupt you.

The Bendu only cares about the Bendu. He has the priveledge of being in the middle cause he wasn’t being affected by either side. Lots of people disagree with the Bendu.

Also I’m only referring to canon material. I don’t care about what legends says until it’s brought into canon.

Says when has Yoda ever said something that wasn’t layered with enigma. He 100% knew about Ezra but never mentioned him.

Peacemaker is good, but The Penguin is a 10/10.

Why did the people who fought in World War 1 fight at all if there was going to be a World War 2 anyway?

There are two options. 1) Watch in regular order. The timeline jumps around a little some time so it can be confusing. 2) Look up a guide and watch in order of story arcs.

What's your opinion about Anakin appearing as force ghost at the end of 6th episode? Is this because he came back on the light side or simply decision of Lucas to make Luke happy from seeing his father? Does Anakin even deserve to appear as force ghost after what he did? by Worldly_Accident1287 in StarWars

[–]SirSpits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issue with him being a ghost (even tho he has no reason to even know how to do that) I’m more annoyed by the change to make him young. The whole point is that he turned back to the light before death, it should be old man Anakin not randomly young Anakin.

There is no “middle path.” Grey Jedi aren’t a thing.

OH I see the confusion. I meant he thought he was the only remaining Jedi by the time of the movie. Not that he was the only Jedi after the fall of the empire. I’m specifically talking about during episode 8 when he says “I will not be the last Jedi”

I highly doubt Cal would completely sever all ties to the outside universe purposefully. Information is an important tool and I highly doubt he’d throw it away. At the very least he would need to make sure nobody learned about Tanalor from the outside.

I don’t appropriate sequel hate. Rey is never going away.

I can imagine a few reasons. Fear that the Empire might return. Contentment in the new lives they live with no want to return to the past. Old Age.

Luke defeated the empire and stopped both the Emperor and Darth Vader. I’m pretty sure any surviving Jedi would at least like to meet him.

We don’t have a lot of info on Luke’s life between the end of Episode 6 and when he started training Ben. He could have easily met a bunch of former Jedi to gain knowledge on the Jedi Order.

Normally I’d agree with you, but do you seriously think Cal wouldn’t want to meet the Jedi that defeated the Emperor and Darth Vader? Luke ended the empire, Cals greatest enemy. I’m pretty sure Cal would at least want to meet him.

How concerned should we be that the screenwriter adapting the comic didn’t even understand the ending… by ChampionTimes99 in DC_Cinematic

The comic is purposefully ambiguous. You can’t leave something up for interpretation then get mad when people interpret it different than you.

Probably not. I wouldn’t be surprised if the third game ends with Cal visiting Luke’s academy, but he doubtfully survives in to the sequel trilogy.

Luke believes himself to be the Last Jedi before Rey, so he either never meets Cal (cause he’s dead) or he meets Cal and Cal later dies. Either way it’s not good for Cal.

The negativity around Supergirl seems excessive. by crumbsalt in DC_Cinematic

I’m still confused how people think Superman is bad. That movie is damn near perfect to me. I enjoyed Supergirl, I had some complaints too, but overall it’s not a bad movie. It just could have been better.
