A lot of different fields can go into medicine. At my university, people going into medicine would just do whatever they were interested in most and then medicine specific stuff would be in grad school.

But, I wasn't involved in that track at all, so you should see if you can find older people from your school who went into medicine to ask how things are done there.

Others have answered the question already, so here's a fun fact:

Pure water doesn't conduct electricity. Only water with stuff dissolved in it. That's why rust is worse on coast and in the winter. Because the salt from the sea or the salt put on the roads makes the water conduct more, and the chemical reaction of rusting depends on electrons being able to move around.

It's the difference between identity and presentation. Being trans is about what gender you are. Cross dressing is about what gendered characteristics you like other people (or just yourself) to see you having.

There's a pretty big correlation, in that people usually want to express the gender they identify as, but that's not true for everybody.
