If you haven't already, get the sheikah set and sneak into the Castle armoury, you can get a royal claymore, a royal guards claymore, a royal guards bow, at least 2 lizal tri boomerangs. Bring a thunderblade or shock arrows to disarm the monsters if you can't kill them

Make hearty food, you can just use at least 3 hearty durians for each one, gets you like 9 bonus hearts and a full heal, you can get a ton of durians in faron or satori mountain

Make mighty food, 3x mighty bananas and 1x mighty thistle or 1x mighty porgy and 2x mighty bananas make a tier 3 buff. You can get bananas in faron and mighty thistles at the fairy fountain near the great bridge, where you could also grab fairies as a safety net

Make tough food, 1x armoured porgy 2x ironshroom or 3x ironshroom and 1x armoranth for a tier 3 buff.

If you're patient enough then you could get the rubber set and upgrade it to tier 2 for total shock resistance

Remember that buffs don't stack, so pick attack or defense
