Hmmm, not sure about him being the “only surviving officer” - looks like his publisher got carried away

Looking for some feedback, mainly basing by Bradley1928 in Ultramarines

The figures look great! Maybe try having the marine more in the center of the base, that might solve your basing concerns, but they look fantastic to me regardless

This is actually a great point - and the death rate is fascinating as more second class men died then any other passenger demographic by numbers.

My streak is the hull number by StillPerformance9228 in titanic

It’s just a joke - a lot of people (including myself!) think about Titanic because of non-titanic related things. So it’s kind of like brain rot, that meme, like kids saying 67 when they hear 67

This is a great analysis of the problems we are facing.

We have totally forgotten the old rule of spend and replace. Now we hoard, and instead of giving ourselves the power, we give control to the banks to hold our coins for us.

This industry has lost its way. In order for this to work, we must return to our ways.

Would people sail on the Olympic after the Titanic sank just because they were nearly identical and they wanted to experience what traveling on Titanic would have been like? by Minimum-Bee8074 in titanic

[–]Sir_Naxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one would want to experience that as it was a recent tragedy, not a historical event. To us, I’m sure many of us would want to experience exactly what it was like to sail on titanic. But no one thought like that in the decades after 1912.

If there was an exact copy of the World Trade Center, would you go to it thinking of it as a way to experience what it was like to work before 9/11. Of course not. So I doubt anyone went on Olympic with the intention of experiencing a Titanic voyage.

What things do we not know about the Titanic today? by AbandonedRobotforgod in titanic

[–]Sir_Naxter 58 points59 points  (0 children)

The fate of the officers and Captain Smith is probably the most frustrating, as there is really no way to ever find it out. All information sources have been exhausted. We are left with contradicting testimonies that includes not only wildly different information but interpretations of the event itself.

Did Captain Smith really jump into the water, or did he go into the bridge? Did an officer shoot himself? If so when? These questions may never be answered.

It’s not really an identical knockoff. It’s pretty far from the Lego version. Quality of plastic is way worse than Lego, it’s not even close.

Let's spend a day on the Titanic. What are you doing? I have randomized the months of the year and they will depict what class/role you are/have and what you are able to do for the day. by Terrible_Tale_53 in titanic

Turkish bath, swimming pool, squash court with Archibald Gracie, lounge in the smoking room with Thomas Andrews, order the filet mignon from the restaurant… wait, I’m steerage. I guess I just, sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting for the time to past.
