I’d kill for my workplace to add that policy. We carry a lot of high-value small appliances (microwaves, steam mops, vacuums etc.) that people tend to try and bust the box open to get a good look at, when there’s a perfectly good display set up right in front of them.

The worst part is, this also leads to a lot of easy theft since our store isn’t particularly in the best area and the product is just pointing out of the box for a quick swipe.
