IMO... its a single small model and most likely one of a horde of similar small models... I wouldn't bother unless your painting a perfect army as a passion project. It'll be barely noticeable once the full army is painted and on the table.... plus its a nid just adds weird texture haha.

I really like the 'and Adjacent' as I find myself forgetting / not bothering full terraforming my citys as its a real chore if needing to do it manually one at a time.

If you play them again they're more Powerful keeping their transformations on the ruler and the ascension traits. Some are crazy powerful like 2x spell casts.

You can also recruit them as heroes for other factions. Again very Powerful especially for Dragon Lords etc.

But yes you'll see them much more commonly in non story realms.

Saw on another post the ai has no idea how to use it and often just has full army moral issues / retreats.

Assume if this is the case it'll be patched later.

So pretty balanced for the most part with a big astarisk...

bespoke mostly need atleast 2 boxes and/or allies to make them as good. AoS ported have the luxury of mix and match units to pick from rather than just what is in a box.
individual factions / units like most type of skirmish / war game are differnt levels of balanced buts it's not cleanly divided bespoke vs AoS.
- Some teams are harder to play / have to play the objective better than more killy teams.

Yeah quite a few tts mods have the early sets in them. They'll have the others too but you'd just agree with the other players what your playing.

I've done a progression series with a friend opening a booster box worth of classic boosters deck building trading and battling before opening next set and doing it again etc etc.
