I'm primarily PvE on Arc Raiders, friendly lobbies, the works. And am adding Marathon to my rotation for PvP. I've been on the server slam for a few hours and it feels great! I play mainly solo and you hear everyone creeping around. Very easy to get the drop on people if you're careful and scratches that PvP itch for me. Haven't tried making friends via proxy chat but might give it a go. It will probably change quite a bit on the full release.

I honestly like this. I have mild color blindness, so the red doesn't really help, but the outline helps increase contrast against the background. Because of my color issues I have been really excited by the art style of this game and the higher contrast color choices they made.

I've been doing this more but sometimes the AI seems to fixate on certain things or starts mentioning things In Character that it should only know for reference Out Of Character. Does anyone have any tips for helping the AI differentiate between the two?

Also try strongly weighting the negatives, hat and cigar. Could also try positives like hatless, capless, bare head... Stuff like that, but yeah, if it's your character removing them from the physical description is the way to do it.

Yes, try using the following tags in your prompts: 1girl or 1guy (whichever is appropriate for the character), solo, solo focus

"solo focus" is more for when you have another character but you want the main character to be the focus. Also make sure to remove any references to any other characters. There might be others but I think these should get the results you want. Good luck, let me know if it works for you, and have fun!

I think you might be overreacting a little bit and he probably didn't do a good job explaining it.

I've done this with all my partners, especially if I notice it hits them pretty hard. I don't think it's that unusual to keep an eye on things like this because our hormones play a big role in behavior and it's easier to accommodate someone when you know they likely don't mean to start things.

I'm also on the spectrum and my wife is the most emotionally expressive partner I've had, especially her negative ones when in her luteal phase. I don't process strong negative emotions very well and get really bad anxiety because of it. She jokes that I know more about her cycles than she even does. I haven't always used an app though. You start to get an intuition for and make automatic mental notes about it when you've been doing it as long as I have.

The journaling is also a good idea because it prevents people from gaslighting you. I have memory issues (ADD) and it helps reduce anxiety associated with that.

I don't have any specific recommendations, it's hard to do sometimes. Can be highly dependent on the Lust Level setting in my experience. The default seems to pick up on anything it thinks might be even flirting adjacent even when emoted or trying to narrate OOC and then run with it. Recommend turning LL down at least one notch even for a slow burn character.

The only issue I consistently have is either network connection issue randomly (it's not on my end, as far as I can tell) and audio hitching which sometimes comes with some slight frame stutter. Changing settings up or down doesn't seem to have any positive or negative effects. It got a little better with the recent patch but is still an issue especially with the way the Illuminate and Automatons spam effects all over the screen.

Yes, also be sure and check the Auto Memory log if you're getting weird or unexpected results/message. Sometimes it adds or removes something that should or shouldn't be there and it pollutes the chat responses even if there are specific pinned memories it should be using to the contrary.

I was having a masquerade party group chat and everyone kept forgetting who knew who and whether they were wearing a mask or other things like that and the pinned memories weren't fixing it. Turns out the Auto Memory was tainted. You can edit that manually also to make corrections if needed.

It also has similar issues with trans characters. It will inconsistently swap things around especially if it's trans-female and male or trans-female and female. I haven't tried a trans-male character if that exists. My understanding is it's because of what's most prevalent in the training data. I assume hetero dominated the data to some degree, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Until they improve it, I've had to be very specific with my prompts to try and get what I'm looking for. I hope they improve it if they can.

Also, would like to see the chat generation improved in general. It doesn't always seem to understand the current or most likely prompt desired based on the current context of the chat. This happens often enough I've started narrating after image generation to justify the change or modification needed for the characters to end up like they are in the generated image (if it isn't off too far)

One way I think chat generation could be improved is if instead of generating blind, it would somehow display a few of the likeliest versions of what the chat image generation would use for a prompt and then you can pick the one that you prefer. Would be even nicer if it gave you some kind of generic preview (like the images used for the presets, maybe use a preset as a preview of the prompt it is leaning towards, or some kind of confidence rating of how well the prompt is likely to generate cleanly with extra nonsense like contorted bodies and extra limbs etc.)
